LET THEM ALL OUT……..
Within hours of being appointed Defence secretary….yes….Defence Secretary, wild eyed Wes STREETING made an unguarded comment about prison overcrowding.
” Let them all out” oh, and how they laughed, did Wes mean it, well a lot of effort is going in to dismissing this as a harmless bit of banter. Banters fine when Wes banters, not so for the rest of us.
Worth remembering that both Wes’ maternal grand parents were jailbirds , so its just possible he did mean it.

And the winner is – the telegraph – calling for the recall of parliament to discuss the early release of killers rapists and the rest … didn’t take long did it ..?
