    Remarkable how the BBC is almost completely ignoring the fantasy fabulist world of Jason Arday, the black poster boy for Guardianistas. There’s a huge amount of investigation and coverage across the media with even the Guardian doing a hitjob on him

    ….but the BBC? Barely a ripple in its pool of calm…never mind that the dubious decision based upon DEI and the lies this man told undoubtedly robbed genuine candidates of a job and put in place an unqualified academic to teach students rubbish.

    ‘Prof Deborah Prentice, the university’s vice-chancellor, is facing demands to refund the tuition fees of students who were taught by Mr Arday after they were “deceived about the nature of their education”.’

    Even black academics and journalists rip into Arday..

    ‘ The patronising assumption is that standards and truth are optional when evaluating a black professional. This is a slap in the face to the 160 or so black professors in Britain today who earned their chairs through gruelling intellectual labour, original research and the unglamorous grind of academia.

    It’s also an insult to the civil-rights titans who forged the path before us… giants who didn’t demand to be recognised based on sentiment. They forced a hostile establishment to respect them because their work was bulletproof.

    The ultimate casualty of the Arday scandal isn’t one man’s career, nor the bruised egos of those who rushed to his defence. The tragic reality is that Jason Arday has potentially done far more damage to black Britons than any racist agitator ever could.’

    And right there you might guess is the reason the BBC is downplaying this….set aside the fact that the BBC itself promoted the man relentlessly even allowing him to edit the Today programme. The BBC recognises the damage Arday and those who so eagerly adopted him without question due to the colour of his skin have done to the image of any black person in a high office or position as well as destroying the credibility, what there was of it, of DEI.
    The BBC is shamelessly covering up with an attempt at damage limitation…but that horse has bolted. If things turn much worse expect the usual BBC response ala Rochdale and Rotherham and so many other scandals…ignore, ignore, ignore and then when it’s obviously too big to ignore start pumping out programmes that claim the BBC was always at the forefront of criticism and produce indepth investigations of the damage that Arday has done…but of course qualified by a little side sneer that so much of the criticism is probably racism disguised as inconvenient fact….which was of course their basic premise in their first very minimalist reports as they constantly framed the criticism as coming from a suspected racist[in their opinion]…

    ‘The row erupted after another academic – self-defined “race realist” Nathan Cofnas, who was sacked from his Cambridge role in 2024 – said he found numerous instances of plagiarism in Prof Jason Arday’s work and questioned some of his stated achievements.

    While some critics say the treatment of Arday, who is black, has been motivated by racism, others have said the claims of plagiarism were legitimate.’

    The irony of claiming it is racist to challenge someone like Arday because he is black but at the same time completely accept that such a person could be given a job because he is black seems to bypass the likes of the BBC.

    The rot is the infiltration of politicised lefties into positions of power in universities….

    Michalinos Zembylas, professor of educational theory at the Open University of Cyprus, and Prof Anoop Nayak, of Newcastle University, were among four external academics chosen to sit on the nine-member panel that unanimously selected Mr Arday in 2022.
    The authors wrote: “Contrary to the impression that this move promotes self-loathing, a politics of anti-whiteness is precisely the re-education of Whites for a world shared with the other.”

    Im probably on well trodden ground … but I seem to have noticed that there is an epidemic of lists … for instance today the telegraph publishes a list of the 20 bestist books … I went through them and with a few exceptions noticed they were the kind of book you’d find on an a level eng lit syllabus ( still have a levels ?)
    Such books are powerful extinguishers of any desire to ever read a ‘classic ‘ again and must have harmed so many 17 year olds ….
    But the ‘list ‘ fetish seems everywhere … I might put together a list of them …

    Ps – I got lucky when I dun me English lit a level – dickens and Orwell were on the list … so I got a triple A in the style of Cambridge academics …

      Yep FU2….had a look and gave up…only Orwell would be recognisable to most people. Most classic ‘classics’ are pretty unreadable and only appeal to a very small group who think the harder a book is to read the better it is…especially as the common herd can’t or can’t be bothered to invest, waste, time in reading it. It’s well recognised that certain elitist groups like to use language that is extremely intellectual and often technical purely to exclude others and make their own area seem much more difficult and elite than it really is…if they used common language to describe the same things people would realise that what they do is not so special after all…must maintain the mystique.

        No doubt, there’ll soon be a film on the bBC about the sailors and crews exploiting the oilfields for the sake of humanity, greta and millibrain…

    I urge you to watch this video. A no-nonsense explanation of where we, as indigenous Brits, are right now. First class people with first class ideas one being, Dr Gavin Ashenden. Only fine point I would make as regards the several cities taken by islam: I’m sure the RAF could deal real harm.

    What is to come? Above gives a bloody good idea. Having lived and worked in the Mid. East, I have my own views.

      Would really like to know the outcome … the plod should have been charged and convicted of assault following an unlawful arrest – his victim was due a serious payout from our taxes …

      Note the victim not using the baseball bat on the plod … and they want us to shed tears because 2 plod killers are going to get out on 1st September after less than 50% of their sentence served … they’ve used up the public support …

      The parents of 30,000 children have been forced to pull their kids from private school due to Labour imposing VAT on fees, but you will be unsurprised to learn one of them is not lefty Energy Secretary Miatta Fahnbulleh who sends ALL three kids to independents.
      The Mail on Sunday, which revealed a classic piece of ” do as I say but not as I do” Socialism estimates her bill will be £50K.
      I reckon it will be nearer £65K depending on the ages of the children.
      Her pay as a minister probably wouldn’t be enough, so the bill is likely to be shared by her much cleverer husband, a City trader and hedge fund founder.
      At home he’s not listening to all that Socialist shite from his 46-year-old wife and I presume has insisted they ALL go to private school.
      In 2024 Ms Fahnbulleh ( who herself went to a private school) hailed the imposition of VAT on private schools.
      She lives in South East London with her husband and clearly having seen the dreadful state schools in the area decided an independent was the answer.
      Luckily, after two years of tax increases, she and her husband could still afford it.
      30,000 couldn’t.

      No comment …BTW – I have no skin in the above issue – although I am glad I didn’t go to a state school even back in the 70s ….

        It’s all in bits – for instance the ‘civil servant ‘ in HMRC who decided the ginger deputy prime minister should not be prosecuted / fined for tax evasion was a Labour Party spad …

        How did he get the job ? Was there a selection process ? Was he placed there just to corrupt the process ? I don’t know – but I’d like to .

      Putting the UK “Illegal migrants” at ease. I remember when ‘Health and Safety’ arrived in Saudi. Boot inspections before work began. To make sure the foreign workers has at least some foot protection instead of running around a building site with no boots.

      The best one was a ‘Portaloo’ installed on site. The imported workers didn’t understand, they just stood on the pans and, forgive me, ‘Shat from a great height’. Hired portaloos were burnt where they stood because they could not be cleaned. Ah! fond memories now being relived in the UK……………..
