Here am I, send me to the top of this Thread. The MSM do not like Nigel Farage and the Reform Party that he leads. Same would be true of the BBC! The BBC are wasteful on staff salaries, notice periods. Defund the BBC!
Cancel your TellyTax Licence. I was wrong about Amol Rajan co-presenting the TOADY programme on BBC R4. Defund the BBC! Ironically the BBC are advertising the TellyTax Licence on BBC R4.
Here am I also, just passing the screen to get the next episode of ’24’ from the box of tricks in the lounge!
The virus has just reached the hotel, and I’m going to find out what happens in the next episode as we speak, but isn’t this symptomatic of the toxic marxism we have infecting us all right now?
Luckily, the programme-makers of ’24’ didn’t have their state broadcaster everywhere, mucking everything up, just the main, serious, and superbly acted cast, creating a great series!
More to come, when I’ve understood what’s happening next, but it’s a damned sight better than a little twonk chucking stupid texts around about lighting fags!
Hurrah – it is raining as I have started typing in spite of this morning’s forecast that if we were lucky there was one spot on Wednesday and one on Thursday. But it isn’t why I am here!
Watching GB News Free Speech Union tonight there was the usual Leftie . Black Lives Matter was mentioned and he immediately used the words ‘that nobody could argue that…..’ I think it was about the number of unarmed black men shot or killed in the US by policemen. As soon as I heard it I thought ‘well I could disagree’ as I have read that the numbers are not what are claimed by Left activists.
It is the same with climate change. I hear so frequently on tv (but not the BBC because I refuse to watch it) ‘You can’t argue that the climate is changing’ or words to that effect. I could argue that the climate is changing all the time but I am a great deal less certain that many (indoctrinated by the BBC) that man has anything to do with it. I could also argue that the climate is changing every second or millisecond but I don’t suppose me turning up the heating will change anything anyway.
And the same with Gaza. I hear the words..’everybody can agree that there has been a genocide in Gaza’.
It is happening too frequently to be coincidence. I don’t know whether this technique is being taught in universities or whether just been absorbed by people younger than me.
Something I’ve notice and I’m sure I’m not the only one…
The suicide of serial fantasist, Jason Arday, is being turned into another George Floyd/Stephen Lawrence tragic opera, with the likes of race hustlers Diane Abbott Weyman Bennet and Lord Woolley stoking the mob into a frenzy. As you’d expect, the BBC are milking this for all it’s worth.
There are going to be “vigils” and “demonstrations”…Hmmm, we know how these usually culminate. If you’re due to be anywhere near Trafalgar Square tomorrow evening you might want to do a detour.
We are told that the poor lad was “subjected to a vicious witch hunt”. Well, yes he did come in for some stick, but that was to be expected after many of his more ludicrous claims became known
In my opinion, if you want to point the finger, the real culprits are those simpering white women who promoted him far beyond his limited credentials and treated this Walter Mitty like an exotic pet. He was bound to be outed…
And as a contrast…Just over a month ago Ann Widdecombe was attacked in her own home and subjected to the most horrifying and despicable assault by a hammer wielding nutcase. As yet the motives of the murderer are unknown (ahem)…but please DON’T SPECULATE…
Ann had served our country for decades and was a still serving it as a member of Reform. She was formidable.
Ann has now been buried and as far as most of the media are concerned so has her murder.
But trust me, the BBC and their ilk will make sure that Jason Arday is going to run and run.
Whilst I agree with most of your post Jeff, just one tiny issue. Not all the simpering women who appointed Jason Arday were white. I am sure Sonita Alleyne would have been involved in his appointment and she isn’t white.
The film of his Head of Faculty welcoming him and saying he was ‘the best in the world’ was embarrasing even before the stories of his plaguerisn came out.
Andy Burnham announced on Friday that the government is pledging £65 million to help farmers with the drought. Apparently that works out at £620 per farmer. A politician with any business experience might have asked the right questions to realise that this isn’t going to help an awful lot but of course Andy Burnham has never worked in business. As I understand it, the money is to build new reservoirs. A new tractor costs somewhere around £100,000 each (except Clarkson’s Lamborghini) so the £620 will not go very far and what it won’t do is help farmers this season. Besides for farmers on chalk land for example, the only water available to fill a resrvoir they might build will have to come from rain….and there is drought because there isn’t any rain. Of course for farmers in flood plains, probably the last thing they will want is a reservoir. Mr Burnham needs to take advice from real farmers and not the lanyard classes what help they really need.
And apparently the £65 million isn’t new money but comes out of the existing DEFRA budget.
