🚨NEWS: Nazir Afzal has been appointed by Cambridge University to review the case of the disgraced professor Jason Arday
He has a history of being unreliable, biased or in some cases just telling outright lies
– He was community noted for spreading a lie that 84% of sex offenders are british white males
– He once said sending false information is a crime
– He once said “ethnicity is not the issue” concerning grooming gangs
– He also said there was no justification for the police officer to kick the Manchester airport attacker
His worst offence by far was he appeared on Radio 4 claiming that the Police had received a memo from the Government telling them that the grooming gang victims had “made an informed choice about their sexual behaviour”
He later denied this memo existed.
So either the memo did exist and he was trying to cover it up or it didn’t exist and he spread a dangerous lie on national radio.
Either way he’s an appalling choice for this job
