Yesterday I spoke to my son on FaceTime about him getting an air fryer. We talked about cooking beef chicken and salmon in an air fryer. Son and heir asked about peas. I started to google. I began with ‘can I cook’ and googles first three suggestions were ‘can I cook beef in an air fryer’, ‘can I cook chicken in an air fryer’ and yes, ‘can I cook salmon in an air fryer’. There are a million other foods I could have asked how to cook and a thousand other ways of cooking. Why did it choose the very three foods we had been talking about?

What’s the point of Ofcom?
They only ever seem to attack GB News.
I can’t think of any other broadcaster coming under such heavy targeted scrutiny.
Why can’t a broadcaster be more to the Right than all the other broadcasters, the bbbc is obviously to the left and the other broadcasters are also left leaning but escape anything Ofcom related.
If you take this Ofcom situation and apply it to, for example, shops, would it mean every shop had to stock as much vegetarian and halal food as normal food and be fined if they didn’t even though their customers don’t want or buy it.
In sport would it mean you have to have equal representation of all ethnicities and religions. Celtic, 4 catholic players, 4 Protestant players, 2 Muslim players and a miscellaneous one with a third being white, a third black and a third mixed.
That would be unbiased and fair but it wouldn’t happen in the real world.
Radio stations go for certain listeners. Boom (my favourite) for the oldies but there’s hundreds to choose from catering for all types. They are not all forced to play every type of music but cater for their listeners.
So then, why can’t GB News be left to broadcast to their watchers and do away with the likes of Stadlen, Lis, fahima and the many many others who are a big turn off and who all their watchers hate. Let them choose who appears on their channel.
The bbbc don’t represent the Right fairly. When they do have someone from the Right on it’s often the likes of Dominic Grieve or Anna Soubry who are no more Right wing than Burnham.
Ofcom, leave GBN alone.
