Have a read of this slavishly pro-Obama wittering from Mark Mardell on the subject of Obamacare. It appears that despite appearances Obama had no real plan for health-care. Now he does and doesn’t Mark sounds excited? Click through to read and contribute comments on this post.
So, what do you make of the BBC’s coverage of the “Number 10 Bullying” story? Clearly Mandelson’s attempt to dismiss the entire issue of the Prime Minister’s character backfired but now the attention seems to be have switched to Christine Pratt and the National Bullying Helpline. Is this an attempt to re-frame the essential issue – namely the alleged mental instability of Gordon Brown. Click through to read and contribute … Continue reading
Did you see that the New York-based American Jewish Committee has blasted the BBC on Sunday for airing an accusation that Jews around the world assist in supposed Mossad assassinations. The AJC said in a statement that it was “dismayed that a guest on BBC Radio 4 was allowed to state unchallenged” that the Mossad relies on Jews for assassination plots. “This baseless accusation crosses every red line between legitimate public … Continue reading
I consider the BBC’s bias against Israel to be potentially the most dangerous branch of its non-impartiality. Part of the problem is that they start from a wrong premise, confusing moral equivalence with impartiality. That is to say they give equal consideration, painstakingly, to the views and sensitivities of “all”* no matter if doing so entails promoting the views of thugs, criminals, liars and racists, sometimes above those of law-abiding … Continue reading

Anyone catch Andrew Marr’s fawning interview with the Greek PM on his awful show this morning. Why it seems all is well in Greece after all. Then we had Mandelson on to dismiss the idea that Brown is a bullying freak. Marr naturally went with this. Each day that goes by, the BBC is getting worse as it glimpses the outside possibility that Labour may not go down in flames … Continue reading
The BBC is not alone in its certainty over who killed the honourable Hamas Commander. While it is still by no means a foregone conclusion, other MSM have also known from the outset, and have had no problem telling the world, that Israel is the guilty party. As it stands there are many unanswered questions, inconsistencies, and suspects with a motive.Even if it turns out the culprit was actually an elderly … Continue reading

Cracking morning on the BBC Today for the visceral bias so many of us detest. It’s been pushing the letter(s) from “leading economists” supporting Labour’s inept financial management of the economy. The Keynesian delusionalism which drives Labour policy was nicely personified in the fawning interview with Lord Skidelsky, the man who has authored several books on “The Master” Keynes. Naturally there were no challenges for Skidelsky on his ludicrous endorsement … Continue reading
