I noticed that the “You and Yours” programme on Radio 4 at noon is running a trailer which asks “Are you ashamed to be British?” It asks if Brits deserve their bad reputation when travelling abroad. Wonder if this includes BBC journalists convicted of possessing illegal drugs? Great to see the BBC doing their best to put the great into Britain. . I see that three Palestinians have died when a smuggling tunnel under the border between Gaza and Egypt collapsed. Five others who were inside the tunnel, near the Rafah crossing, are missing.The BBC asserts that the tunnels are used to bring fuel, weapons and other supplies into Gaza. The headline says it all “Activists start leaving eco-camp”. The story concerns the activities of militant greenies determined to stop the UK developing necessary future power provision.
