Yes, we are never shown any of these pictures, which clearly would throw a different light on the outpourings by the Beeb.
Also, its never shown how much detritus – human and otherwise that’s being left across Europe by this lot. Local news channels have no hesitation in showing the rubbish left by travellers in this country and the cost of ‘clean up’ by local councils, but this takes sh…t to a whole new level. Not something one wants to consider, but with no toilets for these hundreds of thousands, Europe has literally become one huge lavatory – no wonder police are wearing masks. The smell of these peoples must be horrendous. I went to Casablanca – once, and decided if that was an example of a Muslim country then I wouldn’t go again, sadly now the places in Europe I love to visit will be turned into these Islamic ghettoes. Tourism has to be affected, despite what anyone says.

I agree, the media, especially the BBC, is out of depth at the moment. They are using tired old cliches to describe a totally new situation, because they are stuck in the world-view of 1968. What we are seeing now is a mass migration or what could even be called a civil invasion. It’s not a ‘refugee crisis’ in the normal sense, but the BBC mindset is so stuck in the past that that is the only way it can think of it – hence all the pointless comparisons with the 30s kindertransport etc.
The BBC are the media equivalent of the Civil Defence workers in the 1965 film ‘The War Game,’ responding to a nuclear holocaust with stirrup pumps, tin hats and other WW2 relics.
There has not, as far as I know, been anything like this in living memory, but the BBC has nothing except tired dogma with which to react to it.

Perhaps it’s not quite correct to say there is nothing like this in living memory. During the partition of India in 1947 around 14 million people migrated. Granted that was in a short space of time, but the potential numbers of migrants from all the trouble spots near Europe today, who could come if the open-door policy is continued, must be broadly similar.
The difference with the partition of India was that it was a migration of people to be with others of their own religion. This time it’s largely the other way around, which is a whole new concept. But we rarely hear this mentioned or analysed on the BBC. It’s always presented as a ‘good thing’.
(Of course, the standard leftist interpretation is that partition was all the fault of British imperialism – nothing to do with religion or culture.)

Woman’s Hour is going full steam ahead with this latest “sexism” row. I’m sure you have all heard about it but if you haven’t… This is the horrendous case of the older man referring to a younger woman as looking “stunning”. I’m sure that we are all agreed that this deeply chauvinistic behavior is utterly unacceptable in these (thankfully) pc times. I mean, whatever next, some bloke telling a girl at a bus stop, “your hair looks nice.” Or “that colour really suits you.” If we don’t come down really hard on this unspeakable conduct we will see an increase in similar misogynistic hate crime.
I think that not only should this unthinking cad lose his job, I believe a lengthy prison sentence is justified, with the possibility of reintroducing capital punishment.

Jeff, I just ignore or laugh at these non-stories about ‘sexism’. They’re just another example of how emotional hysteria is allowed to run out of control via social media, until it gets picked up on as some sort of meaningful news by the BBC etc. If the woman in question didn’ t like the compliment she was given, she could simply have ignored it, or written a firm but polite rebuff. Instead, she acts like Millie Tant from ‘Viz Comic’ and turns it into a major drama. It came as no surprise to me that she’s a ‘Human Roites’ lawyer.
The gentleman that sent the message was, however, a bit silly in my opinion, particularly because he is married, but I suspect that he was of the generation that doesn’t quite realise the extent of rabid misandry reached by some women.
She’s 27 I believe, so still thinks she has the world at her feet. I can’t help wondering, if she’s still single and childless in 5 years’ time, whether she’ll start to feel a bit different about receiving compliments from older men.

Then there will be announcement that the regular figure of 120,000 is clearly too small as it keeps getting broken, so the number will be increased. Expect this around Christmas time so we can be reminded that “after all, baby Jesus was a refugee”.

Thank God! A man like this has got involved with the campaign to free him, it is a disgrace and it would appear that he was hung out to dry by the military. FF got his points across very well throughout the piece and Spidery never got a chance to derail it.
It is not a campaign to free him it is a campaign to recognise his act as manslaughter rather than murder. Nobody has the right to finish off an injured soldier. I am sure you would find that defence abhorrent if it were a Taliban soldier finishing off an injured British soldier. That is our law and it is what makes us better than the Taliban and better than ISIS. We hope our soldiers also don’t rape nor use chemical weapons.
He did not “finish him off”, that’s the point; the contention is – he was already dead when Sgt Blackman shot him, but his defence didn’t do their job so it wasn’t brought up at his trial.
Personally I don’t care whether he was: dead; half-dead; or alive – they aren’t fighting a conventional war against a rational enemy and he could have “finished off” 500 of them like that; and I would still wish him well and welcome him home like a hero. But then my sympathies lie with our troops and not Muslim terrorists.
The method a “Taliban soldier” would use to kill an injured British soldier, probably wouldn’t be a bullet through the chest. It would more likely be something such as – skinning alive, dismembered, beheaded, burnt alive or something else equally evil.
Good riddance; it’s one less rag-head that might otherwise be trying to ‘refugee’ or ‘migrate’ his way to Europe – then here.
When I was young I worked with many veterans of both wars. Particularly the Second war Some of the tales did not exactly accord with the Geneva Convention. War is by it’s nature brutal and brutal things happen. This marine has been made a scapegoat by the establishment.
