    Today’s Women’s Hour had 4 items
    Item #1 Gina Yashere
    Item #4 Helen Epega
.. The presenter was a World Service presenter Krupa Thakrar Padhy
    (She couldn’t pronounce Yashere right)

British comic Gina Yashere has made it big on both sides of the Atlantic. A veteran of the UK comedy scene, she’s also had huge success in the US. Now she’s just released her first book, a memoir called ‘Cack-Handed’ in which she writes about growing up as a child of Nigerian immigrants in working-class London, and how this unique background helped her to make it in Hollywood.”

Helen Epega is the multi-talented Nigerian-British rapper turned performance artist.
She is the founder and lead singer of The Venus Bushfires,
.. behind the world’s first opera written in Pidgin English – Song Queen,
She joins Krupa to discuss her latest work, ‘Sounds of Us: A Sound Art Snapshot – Life, Love, Fear, Hope & Protest In The Time Of Pandemic Lockdown’.

In the clip she says the Brits are terrible racists

      “Europeans were the #1 slavers”
.. “All the people the Brits stole”
… (The Brits didn’t steal slaves, they generally bought them)

9am Amol : born in India
10am WH about 2 ethnic Nigerian people

11am : ep7/7 about “the legacy of Britain’s role in slavery.”
‘Richard runs a charity for older people in Bristol founded by a guy who paid for the Colston statue to be put up.
Alasdair was one of those who helped put it in the harbour’

11:30am Ashley Blaker: U.K.’s only Orthodox Jewish comedian

13:45pm 15 min prog about the Taino the main pre conquest Caribbean tribe that faded to almost nothing after Spanish diseases and systems.
    (probably said whitey killed them)

I don’t check every prog, but experience teaches me they manage to cram in some kind of pet-agenda pushing into the most innocuous sounding shows

    eg Today’s R4 art’s show item
“The artist commissioned by the Llangollen Eisteddfod, plays the harp and is working with a choir
    – but not just male voices, a choir of singing refugees and asylum seekers.

7:45pm ep 10 of 12 of the REPEAT of a series that was only on 6 months ago
that “investigates the far-right today in a divided and turbulent America.”

.. I must have missed the Radio 4 series that investigated the violence caused by the BLM and antifa supporters… /sarc

8pm Viewpoint ” making fun of red tape has been virtually a national pastime, but red tape is good”

9pm Repeat of a 2017 tribute to Edward de Bono (probably good prog)

As ever the Times take the BBC’s virtual signalling and amplifies that world even more.

TV guide ..front cover Mr and Mrs Idris Elba , then a double page spread inside.
Half a page on the murders of two rappers Tupac and Biggie.

But the book reviews are different as they pick apart lefty book.
.. ‘No the Kurdish female fighters are not simplistic heroines , like this book makes out.’ says the expert reviewer.

Like the expert reviewer of an Obama associates book condemns it for its simplicity that makes out all problems stem from bad righty people

This travelogue reveals how clueless the liberal elite really is, says Gerard Baker”
    His review
“Like the rest of them he attributes the backlash against this new order, which deracinated communities, shipped jobs to developing countries and suggested migrants had the right to live anywhere they pleased, to its victims.
Those who found themselves alienated and disorientated by this global order were self-evidently racists and xenophobes.”
basically he ends by saying the guy and Obamaworld are actually projecting themselves.
It’s their own bigotry and narrow mindedness that created division in America.

I could only stomach 20 minutes of the recent Idris Elba interviewing Paul McCartney programme, and from the get go I could tell it was about woke. Elba clearly out of his depth as an interviewer, shifted constantly slouched on the sofa, and hadn’t a clue what he was asking, obviously had the questions prepped for him.

Any one grieving for the loss of their teenager recently will wonder how the MSM turns on the tears for some victims – but not others .
The circumstances of the case of the murdering plod are awful . But others are too .

    ITV local news
Now it’s a lecture on Climate Change and not watering your garden
It looks like a national syndicated item from Nick Smith

. . Every item so far has been about the Euros
with tenuous links like “here we are in Southgate Sleaford
… Except the trial verdicts in the case of a Hull murdered muslim
by a gang that included Muslims and at least one white guy
but that was given just twenty seconds so we don’t know what happened.

BBC local news : Post Office computer scandal
Children of wrongly jailed mother talking about coming home from school at 14 and finding their mother was in jail.
    She didn’t allow prison visits
and then afterwards was harassed by the Post Office for return of money she’d never stolen.
Item is a trailer for a Politics North

.. now the Balouchi Muslim murder
    again perfunctory reporting
.. Next mention Hull motorcyclist killed

.. Next an actual Tory MP
Presenter “Cleethorpes has the second highest covid case count in the country.. will you ask the PM for special support ?”
MP “There really aren’t many hospital patients
There’s on 6 patients in the entire Health Trust and that includes towns well outside the area…”
.. basically said he’s not worried.
    I think that’s hospital 6 cases in 300,000 people,
So that is 1 in every 50,000.

Now football ..reporter in a street called Southgate Cresent, Hornsea with 2 little kids confused as to why they are being made to wave flags.
Now report collage with Ariana Grande backing music.

Yesterday’s news “Former PCSO and current police office worker Zoe Watts, was convicted of weapons & explosive making charges” … a survivalist with no intended victims, but rather a collector of weapons
.. I think ‘that police WOMAN must have an excess of testosterone, to get into weapons collecting’
Then I saw the photo and thought ..”ello, ello, ello that’s a butch woman, so probably trans.”
No media even hinted at that, they just called her a woman.

Belfield was making jokes about an exploding tampon
It turns out Watts made a simple small charge by packing explosives into a shotgun cartridge and then using a tampon as wadding to keep it in and have a detonation wick, that design makes sense.

  14. StewGreen says:

Belfield has a new outrage video
about a Welsh postie who made some “knock and run away videos”
Belfield “That is not funny, what if there was medicine in that box she was supposed to be delivering”

.. Em actually seems to me the videos are staged, rather than real customers
And tweets about her show her raising money for charity by doing fun runs dressed as a postbox.

Meanwhile as the BBC focus on the huge success of hidden gay Penguins and the problems of Polar bears floating ice-bergs off the Amazon rain forest… global climate, CO2 vegans etc.

The real news is rather more serious…
The US under Trump was a formidable opponent, not to be taken lightly. Under Biden all that has changed, very fast. The US has become pro- China and all sorts of subversive pro-China policies have been put in place.

The Chinese are penetrating a great deal of US Government agency and infrastructure. They are also penetrating educational establishments and stealing research.

Worse, the US is being exposed as vulnerable to new forms of attack which could smash it to pieces and cause a major civil war within it, thus removing it as any sort of opposition.

We saw this last winter the collapse of US power grids. To say its electricity infrastructure is at breaking point is a serious understatement. Years of silly green thinking and under-investment are coming home to roost. China could easily launch a cyber-attack on the US power system, and then what?…

We are living in a parallel universe with the BBC.
the real news is far more of a ‘communist’ problem that cannot be fixed by the EU, – who are much more ‘Russian’ based.

The BBC is some where in the middle on that new feed. The left are rather quiet on China.. World Service is suddenly using anti-china rhetoric but that does not reflect on the BBC itself which IF push comes to shove, would side with the Chinese (were it not for the Foreign Office involved in media wars). As yet there is no easy outcome from Biden – siding with the Chinese state.

FFS it’s not just the BBC
    I’m looking at the Times
Top of page “Trump was not the worst president say academics”
..the text then says he was the fourth worst ..whatever that means.

Bottom of page “Skeleton was gay, in the SuperTed animation, says writer”

    …New thread has started
