Why won’t the BBC call terrorists, terrorists? What happened to small children and babies at Kfar Azar is not the work of ‘militants’. As I am away and unable to watch the BBC, I don’t know if they are even reporting it. Even if I were at home, I would still avoid watching.

I remember not that long ago Jeremy Bowen lying in a ditch, gaspIng for breath, helmet and flak jacket on appearing to be under fire. Shame those people behind him were taking their Sunday afternoon stroll. Has that sort of thing being going on for the last couple of days?

I noticed even on the Daily Mail website events closer to home are now the main news. Well Holly was missing Phil. Still think we are not being told the whole story. As I understand it, the man has been arrested and looks as though Holly could outrun him, even in high heels. Didn’t there use to be a saying, ‘the show must go on?’

Well done, Debs. And Lucy, too. All we need now, is Brissles or Lynette. 🙂

‘Mr Ben Zion said Hamas gunmen who killed families, including babies, were “just a jihad machine to kill everybody, [people] without weapons, without nothing, just normal citizens that want to take their breakfast and that’s all.”

Some of the victims, he said, were decapitated.’

Just how long can these BBC far-left activist scum continue to refuse to call people who did this terrorists ?.

It’s a rule they made up for themselves.

      • harry142857 says:

BBC guidelines stating that the word terrorist is not to be used is plain wrong.
What isn’t this challenged by government?

Useless Tim should be summoned to Downing Street and explain himself.

Any decent organisation would say, sorry we have got this wrong, we will rescind this rule.

        • StewGreen says:

The media have to operate inside thug countries like Palestine, Russia, Sudan etc
And their governments want to label their opposition as “terrorists”
The media is able to avoid joining in the propaganda machine by pointing out it doesn’t label any sides as terrorists.

          • JohnC says:

It originated from some BBC bod in Saudi Arabia who requested the word not be used because so many Muslims think of these terrorists as ‘freedom fighters’.

As we saw on our own streets when they celebrated. Just imagine what the BBC would have done if it were far-right people celebrating a similar massacre somewhere else in the world.

The most obscene of double-standards by the BBC. Again.

      • Doublethinker says:

Back in the mists of time at the turn of the century I used to naively think that pointing out hypocrisy was a powerful shot across the bows of the leftist elite and the mass migration is good brigade. You know we used to say things like ‘ well have them stay in your home then’ , thinking it must be a devastating direct hit.
These days the globalist left are totally immune to any attempt to point out their overwhelming hypocrisy or their enormous cognitive dissonance.
The BBC in particular lives within a armoured bubble , a force field, which is impervious to criticism , well founded charges of hypocrisy and to any other challenge . Those who work there live with a permanently high level of cognitive dissonance which would put normal people into a clinic.
The normal rules of human behaviour do not apply to them. I think that the BBC typifies so many modern globalist left elitists in that it believes it’s mission to be so noble , so good , that the ‘ends will always justify the means ‘. In their view this excuses any crime any sin that is committed by them and their favoured groups.

It is fully time that our limp wristed and pathetic excuse for a home secretary started to grow some cajonnes. She uses cringe worthy words such as ‘urges’ and ‘may not be legitimate’. Is she in office or not?

We have individuals who have gone so far beyond ‘enraging public decency’ that an end must be put to the trauma they are suffering – having to live with us kaffirs and Jews. They must have their suffering relieved by a free flight to a country where they would be happier to live such as the flag they are flying from their cars, or alternatively to live in Iran or Saudi Arabia who have lots of room.

Muslims ? racist ? who would have thought it ?

    NEVER EVER the bbc

  5. Zephir says:

Why oh why did we let a certain race / religion to have unfettered immigration to the UK ?

The Sikhs, no problem, the Hindus, no problem, Chinese no problem, west indians no problem (apart from some of their kids)

The muslims. often a big problem, complete and utter refusal from so many to adapt to our culture or in many cases our laws

THEIR opinions are above our laws or culture (once they get a UK passport)

The failure here is the Home Office, there should be at least 10 years of monitoring before these are allowed a UK passport, having worked in Luton, I know for a fact that they are getting others to take English exams for them (it cost £500) the fraud and crime around this immigration is blatant but not acted upon

The legacy of this is a foreign enclave, within our country that despises us and has sympathy for muslim terrorsists around the world, they have infested local government and now the the bbc with this which is apparent to the whole country now

only way she can stay here is to get a conviction for domestic abuse as her marriage visa is no longer valid

      so guess whsat she does

not charged but 5 police officers turning up grabbing me by the arms, marching me down the road, phone siezed etc etc

All on the simple words of an enraged woman who was rejected

For about five years I had the front page of the Guardian pinned up on my notice board. It showed a picture of a convicted murderess (thornton?) hands clasped together in a saintly pose. She had stabbed her husband to death as he lay sleeping.

The feminazies had successfully campaigned to get her released and the wife of the PM (booth) pinned a medal on her for ‘bravery’.

I spat on that newspaper every day.

You know all that kneeling crap footballers have been doing over ‘whatever ‘? Well it seems they are a little more reluctant to condemn terrorist attacks in Israel . Now hearing that Hamas is using US military weapons but it is not known how oe Bribeden got these weapons to them, whether it was his catastrophic cut and run away policy in Afghanistan or the corruption of his Ukraine war where the weapons were sold on the Black market.

BERLIN — There is currently a single rescue ship operating in the central Mediterranean to aid the thousands of refugees and migrants attempting to cross on their own from northern Africa over to Europe, according to its operators.

The rescue ship, dubbed the Ocean Viking, set sail early last month from Marseilles. It is run by the nonprofit humanitarian organization SOS Mediterranee, and the Central Welfare Board of Jews in Germany has joined a number of other aid groups in supporting its efforts.

Israel strikes U.N. deal to send thousands of African migrants to Western countries

JERUSALEM — Israel said on Monday it has canceled a plan to deport African migrants to Africa and reached an agreement with the U.N. refugee agency to send more than 16,000 to Western countries instead.

Other migrants, many of whom are seeking asylum, will be allowed to remain in Israel for at least the next five years, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement.

The fate of some 37,000 Africans in Israel has posed a moral dilemma for a state founded as a haven for Jews from persecution and a national home. The right-wing government is under pressure from its nationalist voter base to expel the migrants, while others are calling for them to be taken in.

In February, Israel started handing out notices to 20,000 male African migrants giving them two months to leave the country or risk being thrown in jail.

    The Late, Great Hamas Finally Got Its Wish–And . . . ?

Ever since Hamas was “elected” to run Gaza, and then followed the usual “one election/one time” Middle-East formula, it has bragged nonstop that its agenda was to erase Israel off the face of the earth (cf. the wall map in the office of our Representative Tlaib).

Its unabashed nihilist boasts resonated throughout the Palestinian “movement.” Its fiery threats delighted the Arab street.

Indeed, Hamas was soon celebrated as the most “authentic” of the radical Palestinian terrorist movements.

Which cadre of thugs could top its end-of-days rhetoric, its assured and steady supply of money and weapons from Iran, its satanic eagerness to mutilate and dismember, and the sanctuary and financial wherewithal offered to it by our “ally” Qatar?

Since it was viewed as the most “volatile” and creepy of the Palestinian factions, and the most useful to Iran, the Obama and Biden Administrations appeased its murderers. Was it not part of their hare-brained grand strategy of empowering theocratic Iran, and its Syrian, Hezbollah, and Hamas hirelings?

Their campaign (remember the “they literally know nothing” media and the Obama “echo chamber” created by a boastful Ben Rhodes?) was to forge these disparate Islamists into a crescent of resistance to Israel and any “moderate” Arab regime (recall the Obama-Biden transitory hatred of the Gulf sheikdoms).

The result would be “creative tension” —as well as payback for the Israeli election of Netanyahu.

Through this formula, Obama believed he could always pressure Israel to grant concessions to radical Palestinians, thanks to the looming threat of an ever menacing (and soon to be nuclear) Iran, with help from Obama’s other friends—the then Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt and his pal, the neo-Ottomanist and anti-Semite Erdogan of Turkey, Obama’s self-described personal liaison to the Islamic world.

Yes, of course, this was sheer madness—if perhaps characteristic of Obama’s well-known orneriness.

Perhaps someday soon, a few disinterested historians might even record that the current nightmare in Israel is the logical end-result of what Barack Obama, John Kerry (remember his Trump-era Paris reconnaissance with the Iranians?), Ben Rhodes, Valerie Jarrett, Robert Malley, Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, and a host of other incompetent but otherwise haughty and dangerous people once conjured up.

A defiant, and empowered murderous Hamas was one of the many dividends of their appeasement and grand Middle-East schemes—given the eagerness of the Obama and Biden administrations to send hundreds of millions of dollars into Gaza, despite warnings from their own experts that such cash would enhance terrorism and abet the  evil work of Hamas with an American financial stamp of legitimacy.

Hence, a soon to be nuclear Iran, freed from sanctions, had enough money  (remember the nocturnal cash pallets on the Tehran tarmac?) to fund its surrogate global death squads.

Hamas has killed Jewish civilians for nearly two decades, always escaping the full wrath of Israel retaliation by appealing to the amoral consciousness of leftwing European and American governments. It counted on ample help from both Iran and Arab regimes, along with Turkey, which always screams “instability” at the first sign of Israeli retaliation.

The blustering Hamas has now murdered 1,000 Jews in their homes, preferring especially to gun down children, reportedly behead babies, torture the doomed, rape the helpless, execute the elderly, and brutalize women—and topping the killing off in good SS fashion by gleeful dismemberment and desecration of Jewish corpses.

So, they finally got their wish for their own version of the Holocaust, for what they had always bragged would be the “final” Israel-ending war—as their cowardly elders announced last Saturday from their protected enclaves.

Yes, Hamas promised their mass killing of innocents would ignite the Muslim world, incite simultaneous attacks on Israel from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and perhaps Egypt—all as their planned anniversary replay of the Yom Kippur War’s first 48 hours.

    And it may—or may not.

The ebullient people of Gaza seemed initially enthralled at videos of mutilated Jews, and showed their zeal by spitting on hostages carried back home for supposed Roman-like triumphs before their public sacrifices. Videos of the gruesome killings of Jews were hot downloads on Gaza mobile phones.

Now mutilating dead Israelis, now boasting how brave their sons were in slaying unarmed jews inside Israel, Gazans assumed a shocked Israel would capitulate.

Would not its megaphones in the West characteristically protect them and restrain Israel?

Could not they themselves always ensure a few thousand of their own civilians be sacrificed as expendable human shields of their missiles pads, and thus become necessary fuel for their boilerplate accusations of “war crimes” that usually curtailed Israeli retribution?

But now the Israeli retaliation seems oblivious to all that.

It may not be like the past incursions into Gaza that were manipulated by a cowardly Hamas to gain media sympathy for “collateral damage” that they themselves had engineered.

Predictably, as Israel ramps up the air attacks and prepares for the ground assault, the global media is showing a concern for civilian collateral damage in a way it never quite did for murdered Jewish innocents and beheaded infants.

Western governments are terrified of Middle East killers who may return to their previous attacks on their European citizens. After all, Western leftwing suicidal immigration policies have  ensured large unassimilated Muslim populations. Millions have fled the self-created violence and tyranny of the Middle East only to cheer it on from a safe distance in their adopted Western homelands, whose welcoming of these “refugees” is now so often reciprocated with sheer contempt for the apologetic hosts.

Nonetheless, the Gaza crowds of 48 hours ago who were boasting their sons murdering with impunity and spat on bound defenseless women, are now aggrieved. But they might as well be barking at the moon about the supposed “unfairness” of the Israeli air counterattack.

Among the rubble of once Hamas high-rises they are weeping for media cameras, calling on a corrupt and anti-Semitic UN for accustomed relief, threatening on spec the West with who knows what (is it now infant beheading or body dismemberment?),  and in general suddenly quite unhappy about their “final” war they just recently boasted was all but won.

Will the heroic legions of Hamas who beheaded and raped now pour out in the streets to fight the IDF and push them into the sea as promised?

    Perhaps not?

Some final thoughts: Why has Iran gone from bragging three days ago about its training and tutelage of the Hamas killers suddenly to pleading that while it is certainly delighted about the beheadings, rapes, executions, and mutilations, it technically had no actionable role in ensuring them?

The truth is that a Hamas right now is alternately threatening and begging Western governments, beseeching its suddenly mum Iranian suppliers, whining that Hezbollah and the PNA have not yet sufficiently shared the bloodletting of this war, and generally railing for more jihad from a few of its increasingly so-so, nonplused Middle-Eastern sponsors.

Hamas fears it may have boxed itself in, with two American aircraft carriers between it and Iran, with private satisfaction from many Arab states that their nuisance Hamas might at last have committed suicide through its mass homicide, with even fanatic supporters hard-pressed to make their “moral” case for the beheading of babies, and with a half-million IDF soldiers headed their way to deliver upon them divine justice, perhaps in the Lincolnesque Second Inaugural sense of  “the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.”

Translated, that means for the first time in its existence an unholy Hamas may not get out of its self-created rendezvous with what it has so duly earned, given there is now no assurance of third-party relief and thus no restraint on Israel.

Even a shaken and shamed Biden administration—guilty of an open border and its de facto support for Hamas and Iran, but suddenly scared of a furious election-cycle American public—may for a while not call off Israel.

The arrogant but half-educated Harvard crowd, the European Islamists, the woke and pampered anti-Semites on Western campuses, the AOC socialists, the pro-Hamas Squad, the BLM chorus who cheered on the Hamas glider death attack, of course CAIR, and all the usual suspects for now are as furious as they are impotent—petulant that for once, just this once, and for a while longer at least, no one is listening to their oh so tired amoral defense of the indefensible.

Inside Kfar Aza where Hamas militants killed families in their homes

Just reading this article by Jeremy Bowen and even he is obliged to admit what the Hamas terrorists have done. Of course the BBC scumbag refuses to call them terrorists at all.

So I carried on past the main part of the story looking to see if this snake somehow tries to make this slaughter seem more respectable. And it dawned on me that he is using the declaration of war by Israel AFTER the attacks to try and make out Hamas were fighting a legitimate war. And I actually think he is trying to make people think it is like the ‘war crimes’ the BBC accuse Russia of every other day.

    He writes:

Kibbutz Kfar Aza adds to the considerable evidence that is accumulating of war crimes by Hamas gunmen.

‘It is clear that the killing of hundreds of civilians by the Hamas attackers is grave violation of the laws of war.’

Not war crimes at all Jeremy. They are not an army at war. They are terrorists. Plain and simple. Our own government, the EU and the USA all designate them as such.

And of course he just can’t help dropping this in:

‘But in Gaza, hundreds of civilians are also being killed. International humanitarian law states clearly that all combatants must protect the lives of civilians.’

Sometimes I am amazed at the complete shits the BBC employ. But not often as I have got used to it. But Jeremy belongs in a cesspit all of his own (maybe with Jonathan Head for company). Along with all the evil b@st@rds they try to protect.

A spiteful, far-left activist one who are totally out of touch with the people they are supposed to serve.

I wonder how many Muslim countries have done the same in reverse. I would estimate somewhere around zero – and as they are the most intolerant people on Earth, they would create big trouble if anyone tried it.

This is Indonesia : touted as one of the most tolerant of Muslim countries:

‘Jakarta governor Ahok found guilty of blasphemy’

        What did he do?
‘He implied that Islamic leaders were trying to trick voters by using a verse in the Koran to argue that Muslims should not vote for a non-Muslim leader.’

“The sentence is too light, he should have got the maximum of five years, or better still be hung,” said Solihin.

Of course the BBC do not give us any specifics so we can judge just how outrageous the charges were.

Stop Aleem Maqbool’s appointment as Head of religion for the BBC
Petition to: Nadine Dorries MP – Secretary of State for Digital – Culture – Media and Sport

The BBC has, after what they say was a competitive recruitment process, appointed a new Religion editor, Aleem Maqbool. Mr Maqbool, a Muslim and journalist of some note, previously acted as the BBC’s Pakistan Correspondent and Gaza/West Bank Correspondent (https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2021/bbc-news-aleem-maqbool-religion-editor/). He is due to take up his new position this Spring.

Maqbool succeeds Martin Bashir and, before that, Aaqil Ahmed. Two of these men are overtly Muslim, and one is of Muslim heritage. In Ahmed’s promotion of multicultural programming, there were numerous complaints of anti-Christian bias and calls for his removal.

The BBC was established by Royal Charter in 1927, ‘to inform, educate and entertain’, with committed Christian, Lord Reith, appointed as Director-General. Inscribed over the foyer of Broadcasting House, in Latin, are the words:

“This temple of the arts and muses is dedicated to Almighty God by the first Governors in the year of our Lord 1931, John Reith being director-general…”

Our society and culture are founded on Christian values, and we are a Christian country. According to the Office for National Statistics, 59% of the population self-identify as Christian, with only 6.3% identifying as Muslim. (https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/culturalidentity/religion/articles/exploringreligioninenglandandwales/february2020; https://www.statista.com/topics/4765/islam-in-the-united-kingdom-uk/#dossierKeyfigures).

On what grounds can and does the BBC justify appointing as Head of religion on the last three successive occasions – since 2009 – only British Asians, two of whom are Muslim, and one from a Muslim family?

This is not celebrating diversity and reflective of our multicultural society. It smacks rather of an agenda, overtly hostile to traditional British values and history and aimed at promoting the progressive Islamisation of our country.

We call for Aleem Maqbool’s appointment to be stopped, and for a fairer recruitment process reflective of our Christian heritage and faith.”

“BBC: Aleem Maqbool Religion And Family Details Revealed

Aleem Maqbool’s personal information is unknown as the journalist loves to keep his personal information private. Due to privacy concerns, it is acceptable that he has decided to stay low-key at the moment.”

      • Fedup2 says:

The BBC continues to refer to Hamas as ‘fighters ‘… surely it should say what it means ? It wants to say ‘Freedom Fighters ‘.
I was wondering how many formal complsints about the language has been submitted to the BBC about this – and what the outcome might be …. I can guess the BBC will hide behind some sophiftry about journalistic independence .

…meanwhile it looks like the anti Israel types are ramping up criticism of the IDF even before it has gone into Gaza … I can imagine the response when Israel really gets going at it ….

  40. Fedup2 says:

    Not directly the BBC

It seems the consequence of not being ‘neutral ‘ is hitting the Footy Ballers . The FA is being criticised for failing to put the Israeli flag on wem ber lee for a forthcoming international match – yet it did it for Ukraine 24 hours after the Russian invasion – and obviously continuing to kneel for a fraudulent coloured operation .

Don’t get me wrong – I think it’s right for the Israeli flag to be put up – but I’d actually prefer sport to be ‘neutral ‘ – but that horse has bolted ….

…other notable absences – the Scot’s ‘parliament ‘ objects to Israeli colonialism so won’t hoist the flag

Maybe something more tangible might be useful – such as arrests of Hamas supporters at the coming ‘protests ‘- if we don’t get hit by the inevitable suicide bombers again in londonistan …

  41. Zephir says:

    • MarkyMark says:

The paradox of tolerance states that if a society is tolerant without limit, its ability to be tolerant is eventually ceased or destroyed by the intolerant. Karl Popper described it as the seemingly self-contradictory idea that in order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must retain the right to be intolerant of intolerance. Popper specified that the intolerance not to be tolerated involves the refusal to engage in “rational argument”.

  43. StewGreen says:

The BBC and Labour made a joint promo film for Young Labour

  45. Dickie says:

Don’t think we in the West can consider ourselves bastions of liberty and tolerance.
