Midweek 18th October 2023

OFCOM is meant to ‘regulate ‘ broadcasters. But when it comes to the State Funded BBC there doesn’t appear to be much control – for instance there is no comment about the refusal of the BBC to call Islamic HAMAS a terrorist group even though it carries out terrorist attacks and is legally a terrorist gang in UK law .
So who is OFCOM ? Does it need to be ended like the BBC? Will any politician fix it ?

The bbbc are missing a trick.

Why don’t they say that it was an Israeli missile that caused the Luton car park fire.

Two birds with one stone here, blame Israel and not an ev.

They seem to be able to say anything they want now. They think they are untouchable.
Well bbbc, nobody (outside your bubble) believes you any more.
Even those who say they believe you, luvvies, the far left and the like, know you are telling lies but it suits their agenda as well so they repeat your propaganda and newspeak.

Our cowardly insufferable leaders are yet again turning a blind eye to the loose canon that is Turkey. At the very least they should have banned holiday travel to Turkey to stop the funding of Erdogans war machine, and his threats over illegal migration.

Of course they did what they always do – nothing and now Erdogan is threatening naval action against the two US carrier strike groups, and none of this has even made the news – because it’s politic not to do so.

The 500 deaths in the explosion at the Gaza hospital is sounding even more suspicious now we know it was a Hamas rocket.

It hit in the car park and didn’t have the power to make a crater. So how come it resulted in such a violent explosion to kill so many people ?.

And more to the point, why aren’t the BBC asking the same question in their ‘live feed’ ?. Surely it’s finally a real-world use for the 60+ ‘BBC Verify’ team to investigate something meaningful. Or do they only do google street view and searches in Chrome ?.

It’s pointing towards Hamas using a hospital as an ammunition dump – but nobody wants to go near it for some reason.

      “The 500 deaths”
… I don’t see why we here just accept that Hamas line

I accept that some civilians have died due to IDF deference actions, and that Israel my have a cultural issue with arrogance
but the number of deaths and actual situation at the hospital have a number of scenarios

A huge loss of life seems to break the “too wow to b true” rule

You have a situation where last week Hamas were the clear baddies
and then this week right when Hamas are about to be obliterated
.. Suddenly an event happens which give them a huge “Get Out of Trouble” card

A scenario is that it was a malfunctioing rocket
but another scenario is that it could be a setup, a theatre
even where they kill 50 Palestinians say it’s 500
.. and thus keep the entire Hamas regime in power.

      • JohnC says:

From the evidence I’ve heard (such as radio chatter) and of course the huge explosion during the barrage launch, it certainly does seem like a rogue rocket.

But as you say : what evidence do we have it was 500 people killed ?.

But according to the (still) official line, people (like BBC Verify) should be asking questions and they aren’t – which just happens to be yet another ‘lucky break’ for Hamas.

#4 Hamas ACCIDENTAL attack (.. She reckoned #4 was more likely)

“Now it is time for the US president to use all the influence and leverage he has at his disposal to try to limit the bloodshed and loss of life, and prevent an all-out war across the Middle East.”

In other words, pressure Israel to go back to the status quo and allow Hamas and their backers to continue their constant attacks against Israel.
Heck, a few dozen dead Jews – or thousands in a bad year – is perfectly acceptable to the BBC from the safety of Islington and W1A.

Well Mr Jones, in my World, if any force takes murderous action against your innocent people then you automatically gain the right to respond in kind even at the cost of German civilian lives.

Hamas are using the Palestinians as human shields with no thought to the danger they have put them in. However what is occurring is a war… when the Lufwaffe ruthlessly bombed British cities killing thousands the UK had no option than to respond in kind.

The alternative is to stop shooting back and eventually be overwhelmed.

The number of people in Scotland whose death was caused by alcohol has risen again to the highest level in 14 years.

The latest figures from National Records of Scotland (NRS) show 1,276 people died from conditions caused by alcohol in 2022.

This was 31 (2%) more than the previous year, which was the highest number since 2008.

Male deaths – which were unchanged at 836 – again accounted for about two thirds of alcohol-specific deaths.

1.The hospital was hit at a time when Hamas and Islamic Jihad were firing a barrage of rockets.

      2. The hospital is situated in an area that Israel has not been attacking.

      3. 450 rockets fired by Hamas have already landed on their own territory since October 7th.

      4. The Israelis have admitted to terrible mistakes in the past. They are generally truthful whereas Arab Muslim terrorists are pathological liars.

On a lighter note to my latest comments. Here is a resume of my
latest run-in with the sports “mediators ” of the BBC.
I watched the England-Italy match last night on Channel 4.
The England defence was more or less its usual cumbersome
self. Maybe a tad better than usual. BUT with England now
playing with perhaps the best young player in the world Jude Bellingham. Once Jude gets the ball from the backwards , and sideways passing from the England defence. Things begin to happen.
Harry Kane the England captain also had a very fine match. BUT
a “contributor” on the BBC internet football comments page
was derogatory about the England captain. His user name
    was ” Sprechen sie deutsch”.
The reason I saw his comment was that by the time I looked at
the comments . He was second on the list. BUT only because he
had 218 NEGATIVE clicks to 3 positive ones. I had to reply
to obscene comments about Harry. It went like this.
Ich spreche deutsch . Und sie sind ein dummkopf. ( I
speak German and you are an idiot)
Very soon after I had an E Mail from the moderation team
telling me that my comment was abusive. And If I ever write
anything else like that again I will be banned.
However you can appeal against their decision . And this is where the fun begins. They give you a reference containing
THIRTY SIX symbols . Upper case , lower case. dots, dashes
numbers inserted in the middle of the letters. between Gaps
    the letters !!
I tried my very best to give the right reference. I gave the exact
time the comments were made. I wrote verbatim my comments and sprechen sie deutsch’s comments. Told them
that if I failed their moderation criteria because I wrote in
German , even though I translated it , I would understand.
I even told them that my comment may have been a tad
sarcastic. But surely the moderators could see some humour in it. Also I told them that in the past I hade been a consultant for
FIFA. Which meant, maybe I KNEW A bit about football. AND NOW WHAT
REALLY MUST OF RILED THEM. Was the word dummkopf worse
than the BBC calling those barbaric Hamas scum, MILITANTS
and not TERRORIST for burning kids to death. Raping and shooting to death pregnant women .And hacking the heads off
    innocent civilians.
I got the BBC reply this morning. Yes you guessed it. ” We
cannot deal with your complaint. Your reference was incorrectly
sent. The matter is now closed.” Actually not really a lighter
    note.

Yep, it’s taking them a long time to come to terms that this is a terrible Hamas accident and NOT an Israeli attack.
The picture you mention shows fire damage from exploded fuel.

BBC now including Biden as being the one who is “accepting the Israeli ‘line'” (as though he’s being lied to by the tone of the piece).

No one in Gaza will know anything at all and will assume this was an attack, and that suits the BBC just fine, along with the rest of the Arab world.
Iran needs to come back to the table having chosen to accept the BBC knee-jerk reports this morning.

If this is ‘Israel’s 9-11’, this week’s QT will be a blast.

Unless the BBC rams both panel and audience with ringers (entirely possible) and ignores any blowback (entirely possible), FiFi is going to be earning her wedge.

Ah yeah but….you have to understand that the Israelis providing solid proof is ‘political’….it’s part of their PR exercise to show they didn’t do it and thus must be looked at with suspicion, scepticism, scorn and doubt. ( © Adrian Chiles/Mishal Husain BBC)

However….Hamas claims that it was an Israeli airstrike and that 500 casualties resulted should be treated as entirely credible until the Israelis can prove otherwise…and that ain’t gonna happen, not if we can help it….see above.

Jon Donnison proves himself to be as unreliable as ever as he spreads dangerous misinformation….almost exactly the same as the lies he spread a few years ago when he made similar claims about an ‘Israeli’ rocket that turned out to be Palestinian….people will take his ‘surething’ speculation and turn it into absolute fact and then turn that into weapons….thanks a lot Jonno…..

‘A BBC journalist speculated that Israel was responsible for an air strike on a Gaza hospital because the explosion was so big compared to blasts from rockets previously fired out of the city.

Jon Donnison said it was “hard to see” past the Israeli military as the source of the attack as he reacted to the bombing of the Ahli Arab Hospital on BBC News.

Reporting from Jerusalem on Tuesday night, Donnison gave his reaction to the bombing to BBC News after watching a video that the broadcaster stated was yet to be verified.

“The Israeli military has been contacted for comment and they say they are investigating

“But it is hard to see what else this could be really given the size of the explosion other than an Israeli air strike or several air strikes because when we’ve seen rockets being fired out of Gaza we’ve never seen explosions of that scale.

“We might see half a dozen maybe a few more people being killed in such rocket attacks but we’ve never seen anything on the scale of the sort of explosion on the video I was watching earlier which as you say is still to be verified.”’

Lol…’yet to be verified’…and yet he is already claiming it is almost certainly an Israeli missile….because he’d ever seen such an explosion before….hmmm….try this video from 2 years ago at 40 secs…an example of a Palestinian rocket landing in Israel….

At the start of this video you can see the result of Palestinian rocket fire very similar to that at the hospital…

Donnison is being influenced by Hamas casualty claims which are almost certainly vastly exaggerated…500 dead? Really? Influenced also by his desire to blame Israel…he also did not see the explosion personally….and technically is he an expert? The Israelis say it was probably rocket propellant that burnt off and thus we see a huge fireball but not an enormously powerful blast that you might get from the warhead….looks spectacular but has limited effect….except on BBC ‘journalists” impressions and reporting.

The anti-Hamas hunger strike protester just referenced the hospital explosion as paralleling Iranian Revolutionary Guard tactics
“They lie through their teeth, and then later admitted they did do it”
    BBC : January 2020
Iran has admitted “unintentionally” shooting down a Ukrainian passenger jet, killing all 176 people on board.

An investigation found that “missiles fired due to human error”, President Hassan Rouhani said. He described the crash as an “unforgivable mistake”.

The military said the jet turned towards a sensitive site belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and was then mistaken for a cruise missile.
Iran had previously rejected suggestions that it was to blame
The downing of Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752 on Wednesday came just hours after Iran carried out missile strikes on two airbases housing US forces in Iraq.

Police believe Hewa Rahimpur, 30, was behind a ring that brought 10,000 people to the UK in small boats.

Rahimpur was 23 when he arrived in Britain in 2016 and claimed asylum, saying that as an Iranian Kurd he would face persecution back home.

He was allowed to stay in 2020.

Rahimpur, who was given leave to remain in the UK, set up a barber’s shop in London with a friend but then used Britain as a base for a far-reaching criminal operation.

You won’t hear any truth from Rich Sunak as to why the Government will not and neither have any intention of stopping the boats. An unprofessional transparent liar like the rest. He’s so naïve as to believe that the Government can control events/”refugees” (and they have the law behind them) when the situation in the UK gets totally out of hand.

Message to Rich Sunak? – The people will not give a sh*t about the law when they are pushed too far. We see the beginnings of that right now. More to come in giant dollops.

The Hamas evidence quotes a now deleted tweet by an Israeli Hananya Naftali,
    Who now says

Earlier today I shared a report that was published on @reuters
about the bombing at the hospital in Gaza which falsely stated Israel struck the hospital. I mistakenly shared this information in a since deleted post in which I referenced Hamas’ routine use of hospitals to store weapons caches and conduct terrorist activity. I apologize for this error.

As the IDF does not bomb hospitals, I assumed Israel was targeting one of the Hamas bases in Gaza.

It is known that Hamas is using civilians as human shields, it is a war crime and a crime against humanity. This should be the focus.

The experts I’m following online are suggesting it wasn’t an Israeli air strike at the hospital, but this Israeli media headline from a year ago, re earlier (false) Israeli denials, is just 1 reason why so many people were (and many still are) skeptical of Israel’s denials now.

Surely there are pictures of the number plates of all the cars parked in both places, so can someone tell Madonna Scringe of Viagrify that if she gets onto the DVLA website, or even Autotrader, she or her mum (and her mum’s friend) can find out that it was indeed an electric vehicle in both cases!
