Hunter Biden: I’ve been the target of unrelenting ‘Trump attack machine’

Speaking from outside the Capitol on Wednesday, the US president’s son, Hunter Biden, denied his father’s involvement in his business dealings and refused to appear for a closed-door deposition in defiance of a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee.

After Biden’s remarks, the Committee’s Chairman, Republican James Comer, reiterated the significance of the investigation, referring to the “troubling evidence” found against him so far.

‘Malign states are using refugees as a weapon by ‘driving people to our shores to try and destabilise our societies’, PM warns’

Possibly the most significant headline I’ve read for months.

Guess what : the BBC have not reported it. Another ‘not helpful’ for the agenda.
Just like they didn’t report the uncovering of the Hamas terrorist plot to murder Jews in the EU yesterday.

It’s simply outrageous. What is wrong with these people ?. They are living in their own little ideological bubble and putting their fingers in their ears saying ‘I can’t hear you’ when they don’t like what’s happening in the real world.

Can their clear complicity actually mean that they WANT these immigrants to displace the white population ? (well, the Brexit voting majority part anyway). Or are are they just so immersed in groupthink they have no idea what they are doing ?.

Whatever : they must not be allowed to destroy our country while we are forced to pay them to do it.

My local church was an ABC parish – how to enrage a passive C of E vicar, tell him that! It closed because of an influx of Muslim migrants

And the other C of E church has a woman vicar wth an ego problem together with her husband. I went to a funeral of a C of E friend of mine which she wanted held at the Catholic Church, but for me it was all very shallow a modern church with a small group of ‘musicians’ and because she wasn’t Catholic it had to be a more ‘simple’ service.

So being a high church sort I’m a bit stuck at the moment.

Now, I’m just watching this film with Michael Caine. It’s about an old London geezer, Harry Brown. He’s a veteran and living on a shit estate in London. It’s a typical urban scene, full of gangs, crime, muggings etc, but here’s the mystery…

Nearly all the young scumbag villains seem to be white. I can’t make it out.

How is it I can watch a period piece, set in Georgian London, stove-pipe hats, fancy carriages, fluttering females in crinoline dresses, the full Jane Austen…and half the cast are bloody ethnics…

And yet, here we are, contemporary London, right shit-hole, gangs, drugs, muggings and murders

    And suddenly everyone’s white…

      You got me thinking.
In 2010 Rod Liddell wrote this.

The overwhelming majority of street crime, knife crime, gun crime, robbery and crimes of sexual violence in London is carried out by young men from the African-Caribbean community. Of course, in return, we have rap music, goat curry and a far more vibrant and diverse understanding of cultures which were once alien to us. For which, many thanks.

But………l In March 2010, the Press Complaints Commission upheld a complaint against Liddle, since “the magazine had not been able to demonstrate that the ‘overwhelming majority’ of crime in all of the stated categories had been carried out by members of the African-Caribbean community

Fast forward to February 2022 and the Mayor of London website no less, publishes this

Despite making up only 13% of London’s total population, black Londoners account for 45% of London’s knife murder victims, 61% of knife murder perpetrators and 53% of knife crime perpetrators.

Twelve years of woke, politically correct, head in the sand multiculturalism before the problem is admitted. How many died in the meantime?

Are you feeling the benefits of diversity?

A 15½ minute discussion hosted by the Critical Drinker about remarks made by former Doctor Who Christopher Eccleston, when asked what it would take for him to return to the role. Eccleston basically replied that writer Russell T. Davies and a whole host of other BBC employees would have to be sacked first.
Most relevant to this site are the remarks made by the Critical Drinker – who is a novelist called Will Jordan – towards the end of the video, at about 13m 45s:

“. . . they believe they are still fighting a war within their own organisation, because I’ve spoken to people, like I’ve been at publishing events down in London and I’ve spoken to people who work at the BBC and they said to me with a straight face 100% serious, uh, oh the BBC is a deeply conservative organisation and we’re still fighting to try and fix that. And I, for about 10 seconds I didn’t know what to say and all I could say to them was like, look I can’t speak to the culture within that organisation, I don’t work there. All I can say is based on what you guys make, that really doesn’t seem to be the case, like that doesn’t line up with what I’ve seen from what they produce, um – but that’s the mindset that they have, they still see themselves as like an organisation that needs fixing and so it’s only going to get even more extreme as they go forward because they see this as an ongoing war within the BBC and then the wider British culture, that’s the scary thing.”

country by country comparisons are not really possible, cos they use different definitions of the tally.
It may well be true that Sweden has a huge tally of rapes by migrants
However it has a high tally rate by whites compared to other countries.
Some countries would count a years rape inside a marriage as just 1 , whereas Sweden counts every act.
Many countries don’t count rape inside marriage as rape at all.

I see yet another, ultra fit Premiership footballer, Luton Town’s Tom Lockyer, has collapsed on the pitch. This is still incredibly shocking, even though it’s becoming so much more prevalent.

Talking heads are being scratched…hmm, what could be causing this? Let me see…I wonder…Oh, I know, it’s how hard they train. Bloody Hell, pull the other one.

No doubt these astonishingly fit young athletes do train hard, but…They’re also looked after like the finest porcelain. Their diets are regulated, nobody smokes and there are no horrendous tackles in the game these days. So, what’s causing this phenomenon? Could it possibly have anything to do with…sshhh…

My old dad used to work close to the Chelsea training ground and a number of the team were regulars at a greasy spoon he frequented. He often saw Alan Hudson, Peter Osgood and the notorious “Chopper” Harris, noshing away on bacon, bangers, baked beans, black pudding, and fried bread. Not the healthiest breakfast for young athletes, you’d have thought.

Back in the 70s, the diet was (supposedly) atrocious. Blokes puffed away on fags and drank gallons of beer, but they weren’t collapsing on the football pitch every week.

Unless they’d run into Norman Hunter…

It’s always interesting to watch the BBC lie without lying.
Today we have the main headline:

‘UK and Germany join together to support ‘sustainable’ ceasefire’

The key word trickery here is ‘sustainable’ in quotes.

What it actually means is a ceasefire which can hold because Hamas will not fight back. Which of course means the elimination of Hamas because they will ALWAYS try to kill Jews.

So it actually means the UK and Germany support the war for as long as it takes to remove Hamas. The exact opposite of what the BBC try to imply in the headline.

    And here:
UK MP Layla Moran’s family among hundreds trapped in Gaza church
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-67736723

A story about the IDF being very bad and – if you believe the article – simply murdering innocent people. I read it just to see if the BBC inform us how Hamas are operating where there are civilians to use them as human shields.

    Not a word.

    And we get:

‘”It does feel like it’s making a mockery of keeping civilians safe,” Ms Moran adds.’

‘She adds that the family have considered trying to travel to Rafah in southern Gaza near the border with Egypt but say it is too dangerous while no ceasefire is in place.’

Two statements both using very specific wording to match with the BBC wording for their campaign during the ‘Live feed’ reporting.

I call them both fake and written by the BBC themselves.

There is no doubt the situation is terrible for those people. But the BBC should be placing most of the blame on Hamas deliberately operating close to them. It’s a huge lie by omission in their reporting.

Lets see what seasoned expert at the BBC wrote it:

Not news cos about 5 or 6 days ago Michelle Mone/Barrowman had admitted publicly what everyone on Twitter had known for 2 years, that her and her husband had benefited from large profits made by PPE Medpro

The news item was really PRasnews for the Laura Kuenessberg show where Mone and Barrowman have done a big interview.

One tiny thing was new. Whereas Twitter specualated the profit on £233m was £28m to “100m, Mone spoke of a £50m profit.

The NHS had a team of people who agreed to the price, so if it was too high , that is their fault, rather than the sellers.

Likewise you write contracts in such a way that you don’t have to pay for faulty goods.

It is the nature of business that a sellers can sometimes make a 90% profit margin, whilst at other times they take a huge loss when they are left with things they cannot sell.

Sunak’s missed targets leave NHS facing winter crisis… Pledges on waiting lists and beds not met… Broken promises ‘utterly predictable’… The NHS is facing another catastrophic winter crisis… (Observer)

We note the left-leaning Observer’s single concession to any sense of seasonal festivity on its frontpage today is a tiny spring of holly perched on the big ‘O’ of the word Observer on its masthead. This ecumenical fig leaf hardly covers the shameful doom and gloom purveyed to the liberal reader for the princely price of £3.80 (£2.14 for subscribers)

In News Review Those we lost 2023 – is a maudlin body count recounting of celebrity obituaries teased on the frontpage of the Observer.

For a moment we imagine we glimpse some colour in sports news… Pictorial diversity, or rather a complete lack of any white chaps, is provided by a photograph of: Luton Town players leave the pitch after captain Tom Lockyer had a cardiac arrest… more of that later

To be fair to the Observer there’s hardly any likelihood of glad tidings coming out of the East this Christmas… and if there were any good news eminating from the Holy Land we can be sure the Observer would be busy putting an anti-Israel spin on it: Hostages shot by IDF waved white flag

The Mail on Sunday has an investigative scoop (yes, they’re an endangered species but they do still exist) that highlight’s Labour Party hypocrisy on the Rwanda migrant scheme: Sam Rushworth, who has been picked to stand in the target seat of Bishop Auckland, founded a travel firm called African Dreams, which describes Rwanda as a ‘safe and supporting environment’ where children as young as 13 can enjoy an adventure holiday

Speaking of which (sometimes these segueways simply write themselves): Teen Alex back home… Lad flies to UK from France six years after going missing (Sunday Mirror)

Reach plc stablemate the Sunday People is rather more precise about the lad’s whereabouts during the interim: Back home after six years… Teen Alex who escaped ‘hippy cult’ returns to UK

Our BBC online newspaper review likes this story, promoting the Reach plc popular tabloid paring to number one and number two spots in their press line-up. Or maybe it was the prominence awarded to puffing the BBC’s flagship light enteratinment show Stictly on their frontpages that first attracted the Beeb boys and girls?

Back to the Mail, sadly languishing mid-table in the BBC press pile, and the breaking news of the day: As we reveal Labour candidate sells children’s holidays to ‘unsafe’ Rwanda, PM delivers starkest warning yet…

Sadly there follows a blatant lie in the screamer headline quote from Rishi Sunak: Rishi: Illegal migrants will overwhelm UK

With illegal Channel crossings hardly amounting to 10% of the total massive number of legal immigrants happily being processed by the UK visa factory working overtime, Mr AsI fetches his blue pencil for a correction job: Illegal Legal migrants will overwhelm UK – and I don’t like the word overwhelm – it’s too reminiscent of lefty headlines about the NHS being overwhelmed

In an unofficial unscientific non-peer-reviewed health study out today… Mr AsI reports that whereas 8% to 10% of NHS ambulances on our roads used to be sounding their wailing sirens, the figure is now 50% to 60% of these vehicles now doing so. Mr AsI, emeritus milk monitor of Gravel Lane Primary School, 25 yards freestyle swimming certificate, suggests two possible hypotheses to explain this phonomenon:

Firstly, one might consider the extra demands on NHS services from our fast increasing population, or the greater congestion on our roads – but these causal factors imply there is a deleterious downside to our government’s hyper-immigration policy. So, in line with usual acedemic report practice, Mr AsI will look elsewhere for reasons that our ambulance drivers are increasingly trigger-happy with the blues and twos. Could it be something to do with climate change…?

    1. Due to the general tardiness of response leading to the greater lateness of arrival of the average ambulance, the condition of patients is more serious, necessitating our angels on lime green four-wheeled steeds are in more of a rush.

    2. The general self-esteem – dare one say self-importance – of NHS workers has rocketed since all that doorstep clapping and pot-banging back in Lockdown. I heart the NHS and all that. The dark thought sometimes crosses Mr AsI’s mind that oftentimes when the wailing siren sounds there is in fact no ailing passenger aboard – just a pair of NHS green shirts in a hurry to get to the doughnut shop.

Michelle Mone admits she stands to benefit from £60m PPE profit (BBC)

Why Covid is still flooring some people… Even before vaccines, some lucky people barely got sick or did not even develop symptoms. But scientists specialising in our immune system warn Covid is still causing stonking infections that may be worse than before and knock us out for weeks. So what is going on? (BBC)

Twitter influencer sentenced for trying to trick Clinton supporters into voting by text

Douglass Mackey, the social media influencer known as “Ricky Vaughn,” was sentenced Wednesday to seven months in prison for falsely assuring supporters of Hillary Clinton they could cast their vote in the 2016 presidential election through text messages or social media posts.

@Zephir that ‘s old and misleading info. I mentioned those 2 cases about a month ago *

#1 The news article is obviously from the URL from 2017
Martin Shkreli was already OUT of jail 18 months ago
served four years of his seven-year sentence
The actual sentence was Securities Fraud (A kind of ponzi scheme ..he says no one lost out , cos profits did actually pay back investors)
The Hillary connection is that the judge revoked his pre-trial bail so he was in jail before his sentencing
      https://sfist.com/2022/05/19/pharma-bro-martin-shkreli-released-from-prison-now-smirking-in-halfway-house/

Douglass Mackey was NOT sentenced Wednesday to seven months in prison
The sentence dates from October 18th
The conviction was at the end of March
      We discussed it then https://biasedbbc.tv/blog/2023/03/31/weekend-1-april-2023/#comment-1230686

      He is NOT in jail
Dec 4th “federal court has ordered a stay in Douglass Mackey’s prison sentence pending an appeal of his criminal conviction for making anti-Hillary Clinton tweets online.”
      This appeal is still ongoing

I can’t quite remember , but it could be the sentencing results from plea bargaining where he plead guilty to somethng not expecting to be jailed.

@Tomo mentioned the Tucker episode on Nov 8th

What an old racist Kenan Malik must be as he echoes the far-right dog-whistles about race and identity in the Guardian of all places…..how this slipped through the Guardian’s fire-wall of moral indignation and self-righteousness you have to wonder…..the BBC, and the Guardian’s, drive to divide Britain on racial or gender lines is destroying it…so says Malik in effect……

‘Questions of identity are overwhelming our sense of solidarity. It’s no wonder people are disillusioned…. in many ways what drives popular political disaffection today is not selfishness but its opposite: a sense that the bonds of community and collective life have ruptured. It’s an awareness nurtured by many factors: the intrusion of market forces into every nook and cranny of social life, leading to increasingly atomised, instrumentalised societies. The rise of identity politics, and the creation of more fragmented and parochial perceptions of belonging.

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/dec/17/reith-lectures-miss-point-politics-fails-when-avoids-issue-of-class

Normal service here of course from the Guardian as we get black people wanting to be with other black people….presumably like the BBC’s Nihal, white people make them mentally ill…..so let’s have a bit of segregation, apartheid and racial division…that’ll solve all your problems….

    ‘2020

That was the summer we cycled out of celebration. That was the summer we cycled out of resistance. Can you picture it? More than 1,000 of us moving through an empty central London like a flock of birds. There was no hierarchy or dress code. There were racing bikes and there were mountain bikes and there were rented Santander bikes. Men and women. Middle-aged adults, teenagers and children. Almost all of us were Black.

The first Black Unity Bike Ride, in the summer of 2020, was about more than just cycling or exercise. It was a way to feel close in a time of isolation, an escape from a suffocating period…..the ride’s existence would become a story in itself, a year-by-year record of a community pulling close during a time of wider hostility and uncertainty. ‘

Here is a photo of an alleged Hamas ‘operative’ with a captive Israeli liberal nutcase who was a Palestinian aid volunteer. It’s amazing how many of the people killed on October 7th were left wing liberals who drank the koolaid and believed Islam was the ‘religion of peace’.

But regardless of that take a look at the Hamas ‘fighter’ (insert preferred word) because he certainly doesn’t appear to me to be a Palestinian Arab at all, in fact I’d say he is clearly an African and that begs the question how he got there and where he came from.

Ever since the start of this I have believed something wasn’t right about it, and I strongly suspect Russian involvement. We know Russia has huge influence in Africa now. Was this some kind of attack involving outside foreign mercenaries?

Here’s the photo see what you think:

Maybe my eyes are failing me but I can’t see any report on the BBC website about Sunak in Italy making a speech about immigration….a pretty hot topic at the moment you might think…and the BBC loves to label Meloni as Far-Right…so any chance to link the Tories would be a godsend you might think….but radio silence.

Sunak made the speech yesterday and the Telegraph reported it at around 14:00…so the BBC has had plenty of time to digest and cobble together their own narrative….but nothing as far as I can see…despite Sunak saying some fairly explosive and alarming things…..

‘Hostile states will ‘drive’ migrants to UK and destabilise the West, warns Sunak ‘
‘Hostile states will increasingly “drive people to our shores” to destabilise Western nations unless leaders crack down on illegal migration and revamp asylum conventions, Rishi Sunak has said.

In a speech in Italy, the Prime Minister said that insufficient action would lead to growing numbers that will “overwhelm our countries and our capacity to help those who need our help most”.

Amid sustained pressure from his own MPs to stop the flow of boats across the Channel, Mr Sunak warned that failing to tackle illegal migration would “destroy the public’s faith” in politicians and governments.’

Our country will be overwhelmed, society will break down and trust in government and institutions lost….eye-catching, and true, words….but the BBC ignores it apparently.

Is it all too much truth, too real, too dangerous for the BBC which wants to encourage mass immigration and present it always as a benefit and a good for society whilst the reality is that it costs us a fortune[even the legal migrnation] and destroys unity and social cohesion?

The BBC managing the news not reporting it.

        https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-the-papers-67740319

Then a tiny mention on the 60 migrants story
“On Saturday, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak had talks in Rome with his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni and Albania’s PM Edi Rama on how to reduce illegal migration to Europe.

@Maxi I quote your post “tomo, Lies upon lies”

Tomo had posted a tweet “London comes to another standstill as Muslims insist on chanting and making a spectacle of themselves in the road. This has been going on for 2 months.”

The tweet as you pointed out used a dramatic video of Muslims taking over the streets

Your reply by saying it was all lies cos it was a video from 2021 , was a GOTCHA an attempt at a debunk.

However I was able to show two recent videos of Muslims taking over London streets praying.
To me that demonstrates that the sentiment of the tweet and Tomo’s comment was NOT lies, but was actually justified.

Likewise you claimed a gotcha cos a news story said the 2022 COULD go on into 2023, and not would
                Doh, sentiment counts
and when news stories use “could” in a title their sentiment is not that event stands a 5% or 10% chance but is rather more likely
eg when they say “Arctic could be ice free by 2014” they are saying they think it’s likely the Arctic WOULD be ice free by then.

Like ‘trust’, and ‘impartiality’, the BBC did not invent the words, but traded its brand on them until they made them meaningless or outright laughable.

Ditto the terms ‘holding power to account’ or ‘holding truth to power’.

They don’t. None of them do any more. They might get close on occasion, but inevitably, disgracefully, selectively.
