The BBC is happy – its’ new government loves it – the state broadcaster will be an even better propaganda outlet for it . We could play a game – when will anyone at the BBC criticise its’ Far Left Daddy ?

So the First illegal boat arrives into Britain under Smarmer Government. Scrapping the Rwanda plan before the first full say of his Premiership, before he even sits down with the documents and considers portions tells us a lot about Smarmer’s personality.
He needn’t have sent anyone to Rwanda if he didn’t want to but to publically announce the scrapping Rwanda without an alternative plan look like the actions of a spoiled child having a tantrum.
If anyone suggests that the idea of some sort of new Border Control is a new idea, well we already have one that did f-all. If he’s suggesting that he’s going to smash the Gangs, well he won’t be able to, the French won’t let him.
Lastly. What will the Rwandans make of being messed about and insulted?

Who says the “gangs’ are in France ? The chiefs will be living in luxury on the Med somewhere, with a few soldiers manning the operations on the Calais beaches. They’d be better off targeting the sellers of the boats and putting them out of business – in Turkey as I understand.

If you mean that the plebs didn’t vote the way they should vote the first time, and that they had a second opportunity to be subject to a gerrymandered contrived outcome, that might be a better interpretation don’t you think?

AFAIK after Trudeau -police arrested TR Jordan noticed the draconian bail conditions and planned to travel west to interview TR.
A few days later the case against TR was dropped
So having made contact with Peterson, TR agreed to meet him at his planned stop off in Toronto
ie the Peterson interview was caused by the arrest, not a cause of arrest.

So then, we now have a Women’s Minister who is unable to define what a woman is.

Two years ago Ms Anneliese Dodds said there are “different definitions legally around what a woman actually is” and, when pressed again, said: “I think it does depend what the context is.”

Where do they find these people?

I think the Women’s Minister should feel quite safe if a man pretending to be a woman walked into her female changing area /toilets and found her alone.

I’m beginning to understand where she is coming from. It won’t end well though for many other women.

      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-66545787

Saudi border guards are accused of the mass killing of migrants along the Yemeni border in a new report by Human Rights Watch.

The report says hundreds of people, many of them Ethiopians who cross war-torn Yemen to reach Saudi Arabia, have been shot dead.

Migrants have told the BBC they had limbs severed by gunfire and saw bodies left on the trails.

Saudi Arabia has previously rejected allegations of systematic killings.

I am sure the list of offences sent in due course will be my greatest hits, and I will stand behind every one

The Conservatives seem intent on remaining incapable of self-reflection and course correction

If they want to render themselves irrelevant, I won’t crawl over broken glass to stop them

As I sent in my reply to this email: this imprudent decision is the exact reason why so many British patriots decided to abstain from, or vote against, the Conservatives on July 4th

Their front bench is corrupt, unwilling to pay penance for betraying the British public, and as such deserve the loss they were delivered last week

I won’t be wasting time on salvaging the Party’s reputation. I was only ever interested in influencing it to the end of restoring our ravaged country

I know this should be about the BBC, but a “report” from Sky News 15 minutes ago sent my blood pressure to Vesuvius levels.

Their Economics “reporter” actually had the gall to state that previous reports on the UK economy, you know, reports up to July 4, were wrong on UK growth levels.

They compared UK levels with OECD average levels, that included the USA and Turkey; high growth countries.

We should actually have been comparing us to European levels. And, guess what, we’re actually 1.6% better than European average growth rates.

So the situation, is actually not that bad!

They have the audacity to say this with a straight face, the liars. They’ve spent 14 bloody years deriding the Tories, and now after only 3 days(!), they think that the economy under Labour is “not that bad”.

    Scum.

#1 It had already been reported BEFORE thelection that the UK growth rate is better that Europe

#2 BUT BUT that is annual growth
If It depends which time period you pick cos it you pick something like 10 years the UK is lower
It’s to do with the way different countrries growth spurts come at different times
If one country comes out of Covid quickly
then the next year it’s growth looks bad compared to countries that are catching up etc.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is a charity- and pressure organisation – to do what its title declares .

It receives huge donations from the public and from the government ( which is why some call it a fake charity ) .

One of its foremost concerns is the decreasing habitat for birds to exist. It has bought up land to make nature reserves .

    As I said , it does do pressure group stuff like lobbying . It’s not alone in this and very often governments find this can be beneficial because;
all governments need money , and the easiest cheapest way of getting money is through tax – even if it is sometimes given a euphemism like harbour dues , road fund , licence fee , insurance contributions etc .
And what better way is to say you tax something for the greater good of the person to be fleeced- sorry taxed .
And what better way to fleece/tax someone is to say it wasn’t us – the government- guv ,that wanted this but a respected organisation ( like a charity) that produced the figures that shows if you’re taxed enough you stop doing harmful things to yourself, the environment and the world . It’s no wonder governments give these charities your money to be told by these charities to tax you more .
And the RSPB gets an awful lot from every government .

Now I want the BBC to ask the RSPB what view it takes on the new government’s policy of concreting over the green belt .

So Rachel Reeves wants to rip up planning rules and splatter concrete over our green belt to build 1.5 million homes.

This is worse than Ponzi economics. This encourages more investors with at least using their own money. In contrast Reeves rattling the magic money tree to house the illegal invaders in jerry-built houses will do this by printing money.

She is not building houses, she is building debt. The 1.5 million homes will need 3 million workers tethered to a working treadmill for the next 25 years. She probably has no idea where this explosion in jobs will come from.

The reality is that these jobs are unlikely to stay long term with a likely result of a build boom-and-bust, as was seen in Southern Ireland during the Celtic Tiger Crash.

The article is littered with irrelevant stuff like this which is just there to imply innocence:
‘Both she and Petriychuk maintained their innocence throughout the trial.’
What ?. Instead of changing to say they were guilty halfway through then switching back to ‘innocent’ ??.

‘In custody since May 2023, they will now be sent to a penal colony to serve their sentences, according to Russian news agency RBC.’
That would be prison then would it ?.

Sounds a lot to me like we have more left-wing luvvies giving sympathy to Muslim terrorists. Just like the BBC and the rest of the Left do here. God alone knows why. They have NOTHING in common. It’s hypocrisy in the extreme by the Left. They just ignore all the extreme bad things they do : the murders for simply going against a religious book, the extreme misogyny and the extreme homophobia. Is it really as simple as them just making convenient ‘victims’ to use against the Right and a shared racism against Jews ?.

Russia are showing they have zero tolerance for supporting terrorists. As usual they are a bit extreme, but just look at the result here when you are too far in the other direction.

Yet another article from a BBC clone. The fact they all look this shows just how lopsided the staff at the BBC have become.

Murder arrests over industrial estate shooting death
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/crg4n4393p3o

The BBC like murders in Liverpool because it’s usually someone white. So it makes the front page and we get a picture. And this arrest is simply on suspicion. No charges yet.

Meanwhile they didn’t even report that the man on the left was just CONVICTED of the murder of the man on the right with a large knife on the street in broad daylight.
    Untitled-design.jpg?trim=14,0,15,0&quality=75&auto=webp&width=700
They seem to think this kind of barbarism in open view is not even newsworthy. Either that or they just don’t want us to know about it.

Brought to you by yet another clone:

What a complete racist and sexist farce the BBC have become. And they are so warped by their agenda, they think they are right to be and it will all lead to a better world.
They been trying hard for decades now and it’s far worse. The only thing they have done is lie to us (by omission mostly) on an epic scale.

Someone’s going to get a rocket edition

    Or,

Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width edition

That was the title of a late 1960s British TV comedy.

Meanwhile, twenty-first century US politics says, apparently, never mind the quality (or lack thereof) of the Democrat, feel the anti-Trumpism: Democrats look toward Kamala Harris – but could she beat Trump? (Courtney Subramanian, Reporting from New Orleans and Washington DC, BBC)

I’m tempted to segueway from there to our very own Wimbledon sub-Romanian… but she’s only gone and knocked out Andy Murray and now she’s out herself and enough of sport, this is getting serious.

Joe Biden has been a confused doddering geriatric embarrassment, his slips – metaphorical and actual – concealed or excused by a compliant mainstream media both sides of the pond. Now he garners a modicum of sympathy and we cite elder abuse as the news gradually slips out that he may have been suffering from Parkinson’s disease – when we just assumed he was a relentless old blowhard leftist. Kamala is a cackling word-salad serving nonentity who shagged someone once for preferment, a living gibbering exemplar of the Peter principle. But can she beat Donald Trump, frets the BBC. That’s the main thing. This in a western world rapidly going to pot.

The problem is widespread. New Blairite redux Labour are deeply suspect and our Cameronian gay One Nation Tories a limp-wristed busted flush – but so long as Farage and his Reform tendency are kept in their box either will suffice to run the show.

Marine Le Pen had to be denied the keys to power at any cost: After France’s election shock comes the real power struggle… “We know who lost but we don’t know who won…” Sylvie Kauffmann, a newspaper columnist for Le Monde, told me. (Andrew Harding, Paris correspondent, BBC) – and frankly they don’t care, just so long as – see above Trump and Farage examples.

Failing regimes tend to distract the people by taking them to war. That’s a bit dangerous in a world with nukes and rather bad for business – so let’s do a small war – by proxy.

    Russia bombs children’s hospital (‘i’)

Putin is a canny old operator and he surely wouldn’t do that deliberately: Russia denied targeting the hospital, saying it had been hit by fragments of a Ukrainian air defence missile, while Ukraine said it had found remnants of a Russian cruise missile. (BBC)

Hospital officials told Ukrainian TV that about 20 children were being treated in the ward which was hit. (BBC) – none were killed – or we’d have been told.

Ukraine mourns after day of Russian air strikes (BBC)

Yes, but can we bring it back to sport?

Following the strike, Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina wore a black ribbon as a mark of respect when she played in the round of 16 at Wimbledon on Monday afternoon. She fought back tears during her post-match interview, saying: “It wasn’t easy to focus today on the match…” (BBC)

There is a dark rumour that Rishi Sunak told officials he wasn’t cut out to be a wartime leader. Remember folks, it’s not a conspiracy theory, if it’s true.

Pressure on Starmer to raise defence spending… Former head of army compares threat of ‘new axis’ to Nazis as children’s hospital bombed in Kyiv (Times) – you could have said: children’s hospital “blitzed” – that would have animated boomer memories more.

Could we turn up the rhetoric to eleven, as Spinal Tap would have it?

Putin bombs children’s cancer hospital (the ever-excitable Daily Mail) – just as Marks and Spencers says ‘This is not just food… this is M&S Food’ so ‘This is not just a hospital… this is a children’s cancer hospital’

And having hopefully raised you hackles, now comes the call to action: Atrocity that shows why Britain and Nato MUST spend more on defence (Daily Mail) – becuase we’ve a fabulous democracy, spiffing life-style, cherished national heritage and green and pleasant land to defend… from Vlad, apparently.

Can we also now hear it from the left side of the room?

Atrocity in Ukraine… Putin bombs cancer kids (Daily Mirror)

Louder please and rather more flowery language, perhaps?

‘A war against life itself’ Horror at Russian strike on children’s hospital (Guardian)

And can we hear it one more time…

Putin’s ‘genocidal’ missile blitz on children’s hospital – ahhh… there it is – trust the Daily Express to play the blitz card.

All that fluff and bluster should guarantee public acquiescence with whatever new cash and weaponery we decide to send over there at the upcoming summit. Someone’s going to get a rocket.

And if that lot doesn’t get 77th Brigade onto me…

This is about that time in the review that I like to say – how’s that Net Zero workin’ out fo’ yer?

Stalled EV sales sap drive of Europe’s battery makers (FT) – you mean to say that cute little fella the Duracell Bunny-ish Green movement is finally running out of energy at last?

    Calm down dear

    I’m 44 and paid £578 to be told my biological age is… 48 (‘i’)

    On a lighter note

If you think you’re having a bad day! – jokes the Daily Express (Time for that title to get reunited with the people of Ukraine on their masthead, we wonder?)

The jokey blokey Daily Star explains: I got 99 problems… an icecream van was washed out to sea after being parked on a beach in Cornwall… A bit of bad luck as Mr Whippy swept out to sea – Who could have left the van parked there and wandered off the job? Someone’s going to get a rocket (there’s one for the teenagers) Global warming, anyone? Or blame our delinquent seagulls?

But surely – if someone is willing to pay £578 to be told their ‘biological age ‘ then surely ( second surely ) it also includes a view that their mental age is about …11? Or is it bidens ‘ age .

The Biden mental thing has to be dealt with carefully … if a real journo starts asking ‘how long has be been ga ga ?” Then it might track back to the stolen election of 2020 .

And I’m sure the people in the fictional version thought they were doing it ‘for the greater good’ as well.

I honestly don’t think the BBC realise what they have become. I can tell much of what they do is driven by their hatred of the Right. And they are so sure they are right to do it – even if it involves lies and dirty deeds.

Terrorists justify what they do in a similar way. They claim ‘Allah knows their heart’ – meaning they do bad things for what they think are good reasons.

    Labour’s first steps will:

Deliver economic stability with tough spending rules, so we can grow our economy and keep taxes, inflation and mortgages as low as possible.

Cut NHS waiting times with 40,000 more appointments each week, during evenings and weekends, paid for by cracking down on tax avoidance and non-dom loopholes.

Launch a new Border Security Command with hundreds of new specialist investigators and use counter-terror powers to smash criminal boat gangs.

Set up Great British Energy, a publicly-owned clean power company, to cut bills for good and boost energy security, paid for by a windfall tax on oil and gas giants.

Crack down on antisocial behaviour, with more neighbourhood police paid for by ending wasteful contracts, tough new penalties for offenders, and a new network of youth hubs.

Recruit 6,500 new teachers in key subjects to set children up for life, work and the future, paid for by ending tax breaks for private schools.
