When I was a lad cars were nowhere near as safe as they are now, but I don’t ever remember them ploughing into pedestrians like they do today.
These days we’ve got power steering, warning bleepers front and rear, anti locking brakes. Blimey, it’s a wonder anyone ever crashes.
Something’s clearly gone wrong.
I just can’t put my finger on it…
