How much of the Truth about the killing of Ann Widdecombe will we get? Or will it be the usual legal shield to prevent ‘speculation ‘. The Left has certainly soiled itself with pitiful heartless comments about this lady .

You may not have spotted this story, on the BBC webshite.

Council sorry for parking fines after train crash

A council has apologised after drivers were fined for not moving their vehicles from a station car park after a fatal train crash.
Passengers were left stranded after two trains collided near Bedford on Friday, leaving a 60-year-old train driver dead and more than 100 people injured.
Some passengers were unable to return to their cars parked at Bedford railway station, but when they finally did they found penalty charge notices stuck to their windscreens.

As an exercise in the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of the public sector, it is hard to beat.
Problem is that the BBC is part of the same system.

    NHS heroes update.

This morning Mrs S went to hospital for a specialised blood test.
She was told to be there at 0800 so she could be seen before a main clinic.
At 0825 she had not been seen but another patient arrived for her 0830 appointment, which she knew was the first one of the day. The waiting area is at the end of a windowless corridor with no ventilation. At my suggestion, I asked if the doors of the unattended office doors could be left open with the windows open to create airflow. This was met with extreme concern. How dare I suggest something. With reluctance a nursing assistant eventually agreed. Later she unilaterally did the same thing with another office. Had a penny dropped? Will she mention this radical innovation to anyone? I digress.

The clinic nurse finally arrived at 0845 and after some to-ing and fro- ing Mrs S had her blood test, carried out by the normal phlebotomy team, at 0905. Over one hour late.

Meanwhile the lady with the 0830 appointment was seen at 0900.

So the whole clinic and all the people due to be seen today will have to wait at least 30 minutes right from the start. By then the corridor will again be airless and hot.

All the patients have incurable illnesses.
Are you clapping? No? Me neither.

      yeah, clap

pal of mine is now in his third month of limping about with a knackered knee and wrestling with fuckwitted receptionists presuming to clinical decision taking and apparently panels / committees comprised of mostly admin staff deciding who even gets a CT scan.

      It’s a shambles

      I know I refer to old stories … sorry in advance … 1859 ….Notes on Nursing ….

“Florence Nightingale revolutionized modern healthcare by championing fresh air and natural ventilation. In her foundational 1859 book Notes on Nursing, she argued that the first rule of a nurse is to keep a patient’s breathing air as pure as the outdoor air by opening windows”

Stuff – with my – hopefully – rare exposure to their NHS – your story reminds me of an incident that still plays ….

.. there is a clinic place at my GP surgery – during covid it was used for giving the jab . They had appointments starting from about 0800 – I was due firstish …

But when I went there ….. a waiting room crammed with people – locked windows – closed doors – heat – all the ingredients to pass on airborne infection ….

I couldn’t go in – I left it and came back when it was empty – I told the staff the above – they treated me like I had slapped them – nothing changed – so many thick jobsworths ….

      Don’t forget to clap …

Talking to someone recently. They disclosed their child was a project manager working for TfL. Before that they worked for Vodafone.

At Vodafone there was lots of efficiency, keeping on task, with an eye on costs and profitability. In other words, a normal private sector ethos.

At TfL the atmosphere is quite different. Productivity is low and no-one gives a toss.
The taxpayer of course foots the bill for this incompetence.

For the last few decades we (the white people) of Britain have been told that black folk built the country, following the second world war.
It’s a theory that appears to have happened without any form of pictorial evidence.

In a similar vein I have, in recent times, heard that the Pakistanis that arrived in East Lancashire, and West Yorkshire to work in the cotton mills in the early 1950’s also helped rebuild the country. The cotton industry had been in decline in the country since the mid 1910’s, and by 1980 was virtually finished. This influx of unskilled workers was totally unnecessary.

As both sets of communities that arrived here possessed little rebuilding skills, if any, the claim does seem preposterous, especially if you consider the Mangla Dam built in Pakistan, which saw work begin in the early 1960’s, and completed in 1967 was designed and supervised by a British company, Binnie & Partners (Pakistan became an independent country in 1947).

If the claim is that they helped rebuild our country financially, well rationing ceased in 1954, which suggests financial stability had returned.

What we are witnessing now are the plans put in motion following the first world war, when the idea of nationalism was to be frowned upon, with boys aged 14 and 15 eager to join up to defend their country. Nowadays we see some citizens objecting to the St. George’s Cross. whereas during the 1980’s it was the Union Jack.

Many white British families left the UK during the late 1940 period until the late 1970’s, for Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Some Pakistanis left their newly founded country too, once those three countries relaxed their rules, in Australia’s case of whites only. However, the three stuck to the policy of only accepting educated professionals.

As we are aware British women in the first and second world war covered jobs that had men shortages, such as farming, engineering, maintenance, bus driving, heavy truck driving in the homeland. The so-called “rebuilding” of Britain post 1945 could and should have been covered by our own people, as in the two world wars. After all, in those days there was far more of a community feeling in the country.

As we observe the destruction of our country on a daily basis, many already sense the coming storm. In the words of Sir Winston Churchill:

“We shall go on to the end… we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.”

“What humbles me most about the Hillsborough families is that their fight was never just about themselves.
It was about ensuring no family, anywhere in our country, ever has to endure the injustices they faced. ”
