The Office of Worker Power will put workers in touch with union organisers and offer resources on organising their own workplaces. It will also help them report labour violations.
Mamdani said: “The Mayor’s Office of Worker Power will make sure workers have a seat at the table before exploitation becomes a crisis and violations become routine.
