I thought the BBC’s impartiality code of conduct is that you don’t have to give equal weight to both sides of a story if one side is deemed to be essentially true.
That is the justification they have for their treatment of global warming stories. They have mentioned this policy many times.

Here is an interview with Israeli journalist Efrat Fenigson who servedin the IDF on the Gaza border, and as I wrote after the attacks feels something abot this isn’t quite right.
this questioning journalism is what the media should be doing, but maybe dark forces are at play here:

She talks of the surveillance of the border, and even a cat approaching the fence is investigated, yet here we have 15 different breaches of the fence and no one appears to have reacted.
5 hours for the IDF to get their act together and react effectively?
Israeli intelligence which knows exactly where Hammas cells are operating in Gaza but didn’t have a clue this was being planned?
A captured Hammas terrorist told them they were preparing for this for over a year.
Iran unusually says it had nothing to do with this attack but welcomes it, there appears to be no direct evidence Iran was involved, but if they weren’t then who was?
Far too many of the terrorists were carrying US made weapons, where did these come from?
Cui Bono? Who gains? Pressure is being applied to Israel from BRICS and Bidens US which is fast losing influence in the Middle East, and there was a nicely progressing Saudi Israeli reprochement underway.
Then finally there was the speed of the media as people asked highly relevant questions, to condemn them as ‘conspiracy theorists’ the slur of choice when people are getting uncomfortably close to the truth.
As Ms Fenigson observes from personal experience of being this, this just isn’t right, it doesn’t add up because the system doesn’t work in the way is being claimed right now.
Interesting that around 1Hr 20 minutes they talk about interconnected all these people and their organisations are, but how the media works to put them into what they call ‘silos’ so people never make the connection between each one, such as defence, health, government, media and banks. They keep each one seperate and work to prevent people making connections between them all.
They use the ‘giveaway’ of the head of the Bank of International Settlements at the start of covid talking about the need for digital vaccination passports before there even was a vaccination available, and ask what the hell is a banker doing even discussing this, let alone having knowledge of it.
They also discuss corruption where someone in power knows something is going to happed and can make future gain from it as a result, but they then take it a stage further, making something happen in order to make a financial gain.
So you know the Nordstream is going to be destroyed so you buy gas futures, or you buy gas futures and blow up Nordstream as a way of financial gain.
I ain’t watched any of it, just some thoughts anyway 🤓:
It was a main public holiday,
Thousands of rockets were raining down, so many defenders were in shelters.
Cats don’t have sophisticated drones to knock out the wall’s cameras.
5 hours? Incompitance doesn’t necessarily mean a conspiracy.
Iran? Aren’t they different brand of Islam? Shias, who control Hezbollah. And would anyone else need to be involved, Hamas got plenty of aid money to splash around.
How many Hamas would need to know the plans? Only a handful I’d guess, the “troops” are going out on a normal training exercise, until suddenly they aren’t..
US made weapons source? Ukraine, Afghanistan left overs, or they just captured then on the day from small overwhelmed Israeli bases.
Who gains?
Hamas? They can’t have peace breaking out
The speed of the media? They’re always quick to look for a way to deflect their favourites of blame.
I cannot join all the dots but the recent huge demonstrations from the Left in Israel. On the one hand like Trump in the USA, the Left was claiming that Bibi Netanyahu wasn’t their prime minister. Left wing air force pilots were supposed to be refusing to fly and defend Israel. Part of the demonstrations were about the Left wing judiciary unhappy that a right wing government were returning law making to Parliament and taking it away from the courts. I really wouldn’t be surprised if someone or organisations were stoking the Left. What we had was a weakened Israel and if you were the enemy, an obvious time to strike. Now who was doing the stoking? Could it have been as simple as Putin or Iran? Possibly. However if you don’t want technology overcoming claims of the damage due to climate change……? Israel is on the forefront of technology. Or could it have been dark forces wanting a little trouble to bring down a right wing government? This is all speculation on my part but we are in very strange times.

BBC’s Excuse for Not Referring to Hamas as Terrorists is Inconsistent

Him and his advisors have clearly not watched Homes…..Hammer. I was in property for over 20 years without ever hearing the phrase Homes of Multiple Occupancy (HMO’s). a phenomena that’s evolved in recent years, until I heard it on Homes /Hammer.
Developer Landlords (an extraordinary amount being of Asian extract) seem to favours this type of development – today saw a 2/3 bed terraced bring turned into one, yes really. OK for short term lets for single people, but if this trend continues then fewer properties will be available for rent by families.
These million Homes, how many will be for sale how many for social housing rental, because I can see £ signs in the eyes of those wanting to create more HMO’s which will be a disaster for the housing stock.
Hardly ok for single people either.
Brissles, my dear old thing, well there’s a cricket World Cup on at present out East. I think Starmer implied that that none of the new homes would be for ‘social housing’ ie. council houses and all would be for private sale. I can see a lot of Red Wall voters holding their noses and voting for the Conservatives – again. Labour under Starmer really haven’t got a clue although Reeves has a brain above the foghorn.

Lucy. Landlord Developers take a normal size house- lounge, diner, kitchen, 2/3 beds, and gut it so the lounge, diner become bedrooms. Thus able to “house” 5 people paying rent. Some have en-suite facilities, and all share a kitchen (and a lounge area if the house is big enough.
Anything over 4 occupants and Council Licenses are needed, but Inspectors have to sign off the work. Fire doors are a must with good exit signage
It’s a purely a money making exercise with renters paying upwards of £400 for their rooms monthly, so the incentives are there.
No, they don’t have separate entrances like flats, in fact from the outside it’s a normal looking property with one front door, but then the configuration changes onside, with lots of doors with l9vks on.
It’s staggering how much this is going on, but little thought is given to the neighbours of these properties. More car parking outside is needed, a succession of different people living next door, so you hope the noise factor isn’t going to be an issue, and yet another family home for a young couple is taken from the housing stock.
Lucy, it is a home with various multiples of inhabitants sleeping in rotas working in various menial jobs at different times of day. It was a feature of the Blair/Brown years but it seems has persisted post-2010. It is basically a housing ‘sort of scam’ where the owner gets rich (and buys another property or two!) letting to twelve to fifteen or more individuals, usually young men.

The one that did it for me was the murder of David Amess MP. They quickly twisted the narrative from terrorism to ‘the dangers MPs face when they meet their constituents’ – equating Mrs Smith complaining about her ever rising council tax bill with a terrorist murder. You see if they don’t care about their own they won’t care about you or me.
They actually believe that people with genocidal tendencies can attend a prevent workshop with almond lattes and then they become a nice cuddly Western progressive liberal, reading the Guardian and going to Islington dinner parties like the rest of them. Treating bloodthirsty terrorists like they’ve just done a bit of teenage shoplifting. Sadly the events on London Bridge showed how wrong they are and how right Isreal is.
It must be a form of masochism in the rare case when I drive my car and in the even rarer case when I tune into bBC radio only to hear them getting their panties in a bunch about bedbugs from France.
I keep shouting at the radio that the bed-bugs are like murdering terrorists. They are already here!

I also work for a large American multinational, maybe the same one; we don’t need to know, of course. Here’s my surefire ruse to discourage colleagues from using the awful “reach out”. phrase. I always, if I meet this either face to face or in emails, mention that I will be sure to give them a “reacharound” at a later date. I insist that I am unaware of the difference, and when it is explained, I ask why they have a problem with my version.
I’m 100% hetro, by the way, but I also refuse to confirm or deny it.
In the case of the bbc, my version may be more appropriate.

I went to read this article with interest to see how the BBC report racist abuse when it is against people they too are racist against.
And to my absolute astonisment, I see they have repeated the abuse to give ‘examples’. They NEVER do that for agenda topics – they hide everything – however trivial – behind the label ‘racist abuse’.
Here’s what they repeated:
‘A Jewish person walking to a synagogue in London on Sunday morning was called a “dirty Jew” by a stranger, who said “no wonder you’re all getting raped”‘
No information about the ‘stranger’ of course – but you can bet his description was in the report.
‘Also in London, a car slowed down outside a synagogue before the occupants of the vehicle shouted “Kill Jews” and “Death to Israel” while waving a Palestinian flag’
And not a single mention in the entire article about which group of people are carrying out all this racist abuse.
Just like they do not mention that it is black people carrying out so many of the racist attacks against Asians.

The documentary in the series “Empire Warrior’s” on BBC2 at the end of November 2004 put forward an idea slandering the Jews . Days before the programme a trailer for the documentary repeated in an announcer’s authoritative tone advertisements for the forthcoming programme that would show that “the Jews were the first modern terrorists of the 20th century”
The documentary was about the bombing of the King David hotel in 1946.which resulted in the loss of many lives. What it failed to mention was that the Jews had phoned in a warning for the British military who used the building as their headquarters , to evacuate the building . They wanted to get to the important documents in the building that would save Jewish lives which were held in the building not to kill or hurt anyone. The secretary who answered the phone said “I don’t take orders from Jews” and did not pass the message on. Her anti Semitism sealed the fate of those that died .
